Rate my draft, keeper league, PPR

Recommended Posts

Had our draft yesterday in our 8 team 6 Keeper league, 1 pt PPR. Kickers more relevant with custom scoring, and D/ST more valuable with turnovers and scoring.

Id like others thoughts on my team and how I drafted. Heres a list of all kept players

QB:Brady(ME), Cousins, Rodgers, Brees, Carr, Prescott, Ryan

RB: Crowell(ME), Ingram(ME), AP(ME), Ajayi, Howard, D.Johnson, Gurley, Freeman, Gordon, McCoy, Bell, Miller, Murray, Montgomery

WR: Baldwin(ME), B. Cooks(ME), Brown, Green, Crabtree, Crowder, Hopkins, Cooper, Robinson, Hilton, M.Thomas, Jeffrey, Bryant, Nelson, Benjamin, Maclin, Snead, D.Thomas, Evans, Fitzgerald, OBJ, Julio, T.Hill

TE: Kelce, Gronk, Reed

Due to trades, I did not have a 1st round pick, but had 2x3rd round, and 2x4th round picks.

K-Brady

K-Ingram

K-AP

K-Baldwin

K-Crowell

K-B.Cooks

2.6-Graham

3.4-Powell

3.5-Tate

4.6-Garcon

4.8-Duke Johnson

5.4-T.West

6.6-Rudolph

7.4-T.Williams

8.6-Jamall Williams

9.4-Jameis Winston

10.6-Matt Bryant

11.4-Eagles

Do you start 2 QB's & 2 TE's? I see no reason to draft 2 QB's and 2 TE's in an 8-team league. Overall though, I think your team is looking very weak. You don't really have an RB1 or RB2. I like Cooks, but in an 8-team league, he's a WR2 and at best your other WR's would probably be 4's or 5's. I think you're looking at a lot of losses. Hopefully you can trade a couple players to contenders this year around the deadline to help buildup. next years roster.

I like your third round picks. Powell could become a very good PPR running back, and Tate is underrated. He should end up with at least 90 rec. and his TD rate wasn't terrible over the second half of last year.

you might lead all ppr leagues in fewest receptions this season. good luck.

Ingram was #8 RB in PPR last year? Baldwin was #9 WR? Tate=90+ catches each season? Duke johnson could have over 80 catches? Not sure what you see?

No we dont start 2 QB, so I guess I see your argument here and it makes total sense with QB depth. I will drop Winston for a player with more upside.

we only start 1 TE but didnt see how it could be bad to have a backup for bad matchups and bye week coverage, injuries?

Again with the RB1 and WR1, Both Baldwin and Ingram were top 10 last season in PPR, sure there's only 8 teams but since its a 6 keeper league the top players at RB havent been available for years to grab.

Crowell could get 250+ carries this season, and West could also with Dixon out now. Possible top 10 for Crow and top 15 for West this season no?

Thank you! They were probably my favorite and most comfortable picks the whole draft lol

I'll be shocked if any of those RB's finish in the top 15 this year. Crowell is a nice mid RB2 in 12-team... which is about the #18 RB, and I think he's the best guy have. With Kamura and AP (even though he's a shell of himself), the Saints are going to give Ingram the ball less. I don't think he gets anywhere near the 260 targets (rushing and receiving), that he got last year. I think 200 is the ceiling. Terrence West stinks and so will the entire Ravens offense. If he finishes in the top 30, I'll be shocked. Duke Johnson may be a better starter than both Ingram and West. I can't imagine an 8-team league starting backfield of 2 Cleveland Browns being a successful one.

You're receivers aren't bad, really the RB's aren't either... for a 12-team league, but not for an 8-team league. I think Baldwin had a great year last year that won't be replicated. I like Cooks, but really, he's a WR2... in 12-team leagues. Baldwin will probably finish outside the top 20 this year. Tate is "fine", nothing more. Garcon in San Fran with their situation makes him at best a WR4 in an 8-team league. The only real problem I see with this WR corp is that it's in an 8-team league. My guess is that while you have nice WR's, most of the other teams in your league are better off.

If the rest of your league is carrying 2 TE's, then I'd keep Rudolph. If should hope for a big start for either Graham or Rudolph and hope some who doesn't have a backup TE has an injury to their starter and you can trade one of these two to him. Aside from that, after the top 3 to 5 TE's, the rest really are interchangeable from 6 to 20.

Only 16 WRs had 80 plus rec last season, why do you think with out a QB that Garcon will make that list this season?

He isn't without a QB, he has Hoyer who is good enough to force feed the only guy on the team who can play WR

Know how many times Garcon has had 80 plus rec in a season?

Once.

I dont see him reaching that number this season with out a QB.

I think he will be in the 60-69 range.

I know this was started in the wrong forum, but i wanted to comment again since I got so much hate for my team....I'd like to brag and flex a bit....

After 11 weeks, im 8-3, and won my division, our playoffs start week 12 and I have the bye round 1.

I made several trades and played the waiver like a mad man to end up where I am.

People always say you dont win the championship at the draft, its won with start/sit decisions and waiver pickups.

Team heading into week 12

QB:Brady,Rivers

RB:Ingram,Mixon,Duke,White,Darkwa,Perine,Woodhead

WR:Cooks,Baldwin,Tate,Juju,Parker,Dede

TE:Graham(had brate during his hot streak but dropped him 3 week ago)

D/st:Ravens,Steelers

Know why these type of threads suck? Because ALL they end up being is a bunch of posts by jackasses who never win anything saying how much the OP's teams sucks. It's sad for the OP that they need validation from people they don't know. It's even sadder that people get some fulfillment in their sad, pathetic lives by crapping on the team of someone they don't know.

All and all, sad.
