Bishop82 61 Posted July 18, 2015 I'd really like to grab T. Mason. Depending on Gurley's health, he is a quality starter with a low ADP. Who are you guys targeting?
giraldi02 470 Posted July 18, 2015 DeAngelo Williams?

Bishop82 61 Posted July 19, 2015 DW. Duh or your #3 rb Ez As a Bell and Williams owner, I definitely won't be starting Williams right away. Maybe I should have phrased the question differently, who are you targeting as your RB3, because of the Bell suspension?

Aaron Rudnicki 9 Posted July 19, 2015 DeAngelo Williams? Ding, ding, ding... We have a winner.
Vikings4ever 496 Posted July 20, 2015 I think Tre Mason would be a nice pick. I find it hard to believe the Rams will let Gurley carry the load straight away, even ignoring the question of if he'll be ready to go week 1.

I find it hard to believe the Rams will let Gurley carry the load straight away, even ignoring the question of if he'll be ready to go week 1. They won't. Mason will start for a few weeks at least. Once Gurley gets the hang of things he will be worked in slowly. The past has shown that college RBs first season in the nfl are always the hardest to adjust to because they have to learn to pass block. With a run heavy team like Georgia was Gurley hasn't had much practice. Therefore mason will be a nice little line up addition for the first few weeks but I wouldn't bank on him in the long run
weepaws 2,457 Posted July 20, 2015 I disagree . I think when Gurly is ready he will be the guy . Mason has been in the league one season he has learn a lot I'm sure but Gurly talent is much better and will be the feature player when he his ready to rumble . tanatastic 2,061 Posted July 20, 2015 Steal Mason as late as you can. Dude could easily explode and be a top 10 rb. People are crazy thinking Gurley is ready to feature in a few eps eels like Mason is some chump. Guy was blowing up last year as soon as he got a shot. Also Carlos Hyde, do t be the guy who thinks Reggie Bush is in for a big season even tho he's little more than their Roy Helu lol. Hyde is going to be a beast, next years 1st rounder for sure. I can see an Alfred Morris kind of role for him, including all goal line.
Bishop82 61 Posted July 20, 2015 Gurley is coming off a torn ACL, I think the Rams are going to treat him with kid gloves. I don't see him getting more carries than Mason until at least week 10 if not later. Rams first 3 games are as follows vs SEA, @ WAS, vs PIT Pretty difficult against the run to start the season. Ray_T 589 Posted July 20, 2015 I'd really like to grab T. Mason. Depending on Gurley's health, he is a quality starter with a low ADP. Who are you guys targeting? I think this is a natural pick. Even if Gurley isnt on the PUP to start the season, I dont think they will start him until at least mid season (unless he recovers from his surgery like ADP did) Either way, I think Mason is good for at least the first 4 games which will cover off the suspension.
