Why so down on James White?

Recommended Posts

I understand the 3 backs. So many boards are saying to sit him? Primary because you think NE will be up big and pound Michel the 2nd half?

Not sure what better options guys have over him but his floor seems fairly safe in PPR and upside any given day he can score.

I think Im rolling him out agains the poor Phins run defense.

My prediction 35 on the ground and 6/60/1 in the air for 21.5 pts.

Whos with me?

I think that could happen, but right now the Pats have a lot of choices to choose from at the rb postion.

Dolphins do play the Pats really tough.

But if thats your team in your sig hes diffently your best choice.

But again he could do even a little less then what you listed in which still makes him a good play on a lot of teams.

Good luck.

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that He by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

Amen

I have always found that when I try to talk myself into good performances, it usually backfires.

That being said, White is a hard one to sit unless you are loaded with good options. He can (and has) put up 25-30+ fantasy points without notice. He is a talented back, and Brady trusts him completely. He has won them Superbowls. I think that having Headburk back and Sony fully healthy is what is causing most of the consternation.....and fear of The Hoody, of course.

Hard prediction to make on White tomorrow. In fact, it's impossible. A blowup game wouldn't surprise me a bit.....but neither would a snoozer. The bright side is that he has a pretty safe floor imho.

(looking at your sig, I can see where you would be tempted to roll a Blount....and he does have a sweet matchup tomorrow)

Go with it! But when NE is up Michel will be the man that they hand the ball off to when they are killing the clock-White is a "scheme" RB, a guy who does good when NE is in a tight game catching passes-BUT...……...week 14, Michel is the bigger guy who they will look to when they wanna grind out the clock.

As usual, many decisions are not easy...

White v Golladay is mine. I hate them both. Both have big ?

What can you do? Flip a coin probably is the best course of action.

They had some injuries in the backfield and he picked up the slack.

Now they are healthy so he's not getting as many opportunities.

The Patriots are very hard to predict how they are going to distribute the ball in any given game.

James White certainly has the chance to get a lot of touches and score a lot of points. At the same time he could get the ball only a few times and score next to nothing.

It's a roll of the dice.
