Death Pool update: Bobby "The Brain" Heenan

Recommended Posts

Oh no. This one hurts.

Great heel manager.

Despite how despicable he was, it's impossible not to love a guy that makes you laugh that much.

Let Bobby handle the talking.

The wrestlers didn't have to learn any lines. They just had stand in the background, flex, make angry intimidating faces, and growl.

Brock Lesnar is an embarrassment to today's WWE

Sh1t, Braun Strowman is better on the mic than he is.

Paul Heyman is terrible.

Is it different today ?

Asking because I seriously don't know. Are managers still reverent to the "sport" ?

That nickname was given to him by The Bruiser, both of whom wrestled in the Detroit Area territory on and off when I was a kid. The Bruiser spent his wrestling off seasons playing for the Packers in the NFL. He was such a great personality that a local radio station had a morning show for years that consisted of a regular dude and then someone else impersonating the Bruiser.

The greatest ever, at multiple things. Best manager, best commentator, just the voice of wrestling overall. I know for a fact I took him for granted watching since I was just a little kid. You can go back now and appreciate his genius.

He and Gorilla are the best ever I think, as a team of announcers.

Jesse the Body and Gorilla were good too.
