All seafood on Xmas this year since Im not cooking on Xmas eve.

Lobster tails. - Will probably broil them unless Bier, or one of you massholes has a better idea.

King crab legs - steamed

Boiled spiced shrimp (Chesapeake Bay Style)

I need some side ideas.

A rice dish of some sort?

A salad? Whooptiy doo!

Maybe a cornbread, or some johnny cakes?

You actually gave me an idea to maybe make some Christmas sushi. Might not be for Christmas Day but Im having Christmas this Wednesday with my brothers and sisters and their families since we all live a good bit ways away from each other. My sister also decided it would be a good idea to do an amazing race competition like they did for my nieces birthday.

I make a good Mac Casserole. Goes great with a ham.

8 oz. large elbow mac

2 c. small curd cottage cheese

1 c. sour cream

1 1/2 cup cheese (I do 50/50 sharp/mild cheddar)

1 egg, whisked

Paprika

Cook noodles. Let cool.

Mix all other stuff except paprika together

Mix in noodles

Toss it into a baking dish

Top with some cheese and paprika

Cover with foil

350 for 45 minutes

I'd throw ham or bacon into that

I throw ham in, when Im cooking as a stand alone. Serve it with peas. Little overkill if ham is the main dish already.
