By the way, the Falcon defense, especially the front 7 are playing like demons on speed of late. They sacked Brees about five or six times today. Trufant is also a little beast in the secondary, so I don't think you should mock these guys just because they might end up 8-8. Give them some respect because I would take them over the Lions and the Cards as we speak. Save the whale.....errrr, I mean Mike Smith. The O-Line has finally gelled, and Matty Ice is playing good ball...4 straight games over 300 yards passing. They hung with GB and Pitt, and Julio seems to be okay. I expect them to beat Carolina. A sh!tty division handed to you to get you in the playoffs should NOT save his job. F that. While we're on the subject; Matt Ryan needs some better coaching. He's not getting better. TennisMenace 156 Posted December 22, 2014 Yes, Smith has made some mistakes coaching, especially managing the clock, but these kind of mistakes can be easily managed. Just have him hire a clock management specialist to be by his side advising him as the game progresses. The players absolutely love him and his team usually competes day in and day out. I think the Falcons have other issues they need to resolve, like who is doing the drafting? For years, their both lines have been too small and have been pushed around. And what are they doing to improve during the offseason? Not much. It seems to me Smith, while certainly not perfect, is not the main reason for them not winning the Super Bowl. After that, they will probably have to go to Green Bay or Seattle and get curb stomped. End of season, end of Smith. Demitroff needs to go to; HORRIBLE drafts since he's taken over.
