Pretty much. They found out that certain viruses can be used to attack cancer cells, as a matter of fact, one of the most recent tests, ina human child used the AIDS virus, which as we know is a bad ass virus, to attack her cancer. She did not aquire AIDS. The potential applications, is really staggering. To say, that's it, we cured cancer, would be wrong, but ... it may be on the horizon.
