16 Team Leagues - Anyone ever been in one

Recommended Posts

I'm in a 16 team league for the first time. Draft is tomorrow night. Anyone ever been in one? Advice?

A little background - it's a work league, and at least 1/4 of the league will be drafting strictly by cheatsheets, with no knowledge of who they are taking.

It's standard scoring, PPR.

I did a 14 team league last season, and I’m in that same 14 teamer this season.

I think I found out about that many teams, you need too have a very good list of sleepers.

And it’s a lot harder going into the draft with a strategy, because runs on a certain postion makes you start to sweat.

Don’t panic stay within yourself and let the draft like a 12 teamer come to you.

Top Te much earlier.

Agree on top tight end. You want as many positions with a top player as possible. Ideally you have a top 10 player at each position. Hit the sleeper rbs like Connor and Warren. Hit on late round receivers like Kumerow and Cole

I find it very important to have 2 really good qb's also.

I realize you have your backup with a good score sitting on your bench every week.

But that in season waiver wire is bare if you need one.

I play in a 16 team league and have played in a few 20-team league...key is looking for a solid passing team and scooping up with ample research of decent #2 & #3 type receivers or potential drafted rookies that might slide in the draft with a unproven stat record....League of this size only will provide 4-5 quality players.....also.....Draft a top 12 QB in Rd 3-4 , in a large league his points are more key with a thin talented roster.
