About bdill77

  • Rank
    FF Rookie
  1. When Jacobs was at Southern Illinois he had no problem carrying the load all game. I know it is Div IAA, but he still got a lot of carries. I think he still get spelled some, but he will be good for 1100 yards and 10-12 td's.

    Shaun/Owens Deal

I don't think I would do it. It's just too risky to give up the 2nd or 3rd best player overall for anyone. If Johnson has a rebound year, which he is supposed to, than you'll be sitting pretty.

    Keeper Question...

I would also keep R.Brown, simply because you can pick up those receivers easily in the draft. He's also younger. I personally have always liked Jackson over Burress because he is more consistent. Burress may have some big games, but he has some real stinkers. Jackson always seems to get his numbers. Also, I don't think Burress will have as good a year as he did last year.

    Dynasty league starting.....#1?

I would consider Brown over Cadillac b/c I think he is more of a workhorse and will stay healthy. I would maybe go with Reggie Bush if that is an option. He has a lot of upside.

Mid July... time to think of Keepers

I personally would keep LJ, LJordan and CJ. I think Jordan will be better than DDavis because he catches just as many balls and stays healthy. He's also relatively young. CJ is a top 3 WR.
  6. I would do this trade in a heartbeat. CJohnson is one of the top 3 WR's in the game and AJohnson may have a better year tha last but he is still not proven. KJones has already rushed his rookie year for more yards than Westbrook ever has. I know that Westbrook catches a lot of balls, but he has been hurt a lot and KJones is going into a Mike Martz offense-picture the old Marshall Faulk. I'd do it in a heartbeat, especially as a redraft league.
  7. I think Heath Miller has a lot more upside than Cooley does, and I think Carr will turn into a fine NFL QB. Vick's a great athlete, but I don't know if he will ever get a lot better. Once age kicks in he will have a problem, or maybe it will make him a better passer.

    Tough Keeper Question

I would keep Gates- the best TE, over a #2 or 3 runningback. You have the 2nd pick and could pick up a decent back at that spot.

Should I accept this trade offer?

I would not do this trade.
  10. I usually prefer not to have 2 WR on the same team because a QB injury can screw both WR's. Second the bye weeks can be difficult and if you guarantee yourself a loss one week, that can be harmful. Third if they play a great defense or have a bad night throwing your damage is double. However, if you get just a heck of a deal and can't pass it up, you have to take it. You can always try to trade one for equal value later to lessen your risk. We get points for receptions and I picked up KCurtis in the 2nd to last round last year when I already had Holt. It panned out well when Bruce got hurt. I was able to trade Curtis for help at TE over the bye weeks.

why are Caddy and Ronnie Brown ranked so high?

I think it depends on your scoring system on how valuable these guys are. Cadillac will catch a few more balls than Brown. I think they are probably overhyped a little but they still have a good chance at 1200 yards and 8-10 td's. I prefer Brown actually because I think he doesn't have anyone to contest with and I think he can stay healthy.

    What's the deal with

Droughns will be the starter and will probably put up decent yardage, but will lack in the TD's.

    Dynasty trade?

I would go ahead and make the trade, but I would be looking to upgrade at RB soon. Tiki is solid, but no one knows how long McAllister will be the man in NO. By midseason you may be hurting at RB. I think you will have enough solid WR's to make a decent deal.

Drafted 9th out of 10 teams, rate it and leave link

I think you need to package something for an upgrade at RB. The only sure thing is LJordan. The others could be splitting time or backups. The good news is that you are solid at WR. Jackson, Horn, Driver and Wayne are all solid and Mark Clayton is a good sleeper.(Even if picked by accident) So you might be able to package a RB and one of your WR for a more solid RB. Just an idea. Plus I think you'll be find at TE. LJLewis will have a great year for the eagles.
