If I had bought a couple tickets yesterday I may have paid $60 for the pair. Now they are back up to like $80 apiece :(

$80 for playoff tickets? I have a friend who goes to a regular-season Bears game every year. Tickets are like $300.

So.......... Moving it to a night game, when the roads and stuff will have more time to freeze over, and it's dark - is a safer option?

I think it costs about $80 to watch a Cowboys training camp practice. But America's Team from Texas vs a Kansas/Missouri half breed, so I guess it makes sense. Different realities and all.

the precip is supposed to clear out and warmer weather in the afternoon. I woke up the other day and it was near 40 and then dropped into the 20s in the afternoon. Sh1t gets weird round here.

I guess it makes sense due to the timing of events. I will be at the game tomorrow night, so I hope that I can keep my eyes open on Sunday night. I hate night games on ET, but I would expect other time zones love it.

How bad is it really supposed to be? Some vold rain?

looks like most of it will be cleared out and with the field covered and a heating system under the turf should be fine for football

WTF? You talking about the arena league team or something?

CMH,

Maybe I am just in shock by these high school playoff game prices, as here it would cost about $400 minimum for a seat tomorrow. But if you let a $20 jump keep you from buying two NFL playoff tickets, I'll never understand it.

So I offer this. Buy 2 tickets and go, and I will send you $40 via PayPal to make up for your increase. I'm more than good for it.

I don't offer because I'm generous. I offer because a world in which a die hard fan of a NFL team skips their playoff game because tickets cost $60 confuses me. I hate being confused.

There are over 4k tickets left on stubhub. Currently at $55 each and seem to be dropping. I bet I can get in scalping for about $60 each or get some off stubhub right before walking in. More than anything may depend on how much freezing rain we get tomorrow, but 1 am temp tomorrow night looks to be around 30 so may be OK to drive. Not doing anything right now but supposed to come in the morning. We shall see.

Also, I'm just cheap and feel like I know what I am doing. Went to the big Raiders game and before walking in got me and the boy in free and sat in the warm middle section which are $250 each for face :headbanger:

Weather more than anything right now scaring me away. I don't want to drive back on an iced over highway.

Any alternative to driving? Train etc? I'd find a way to go, personally

those were stubhub prices. After fees and charges it would have probably been $80 a pair when the weather was looking real sh1tty. We had a terrible ice storm right before Christmas and a bad outlook for this weekend had people scared. You guys have public transportation. Here no matter where you are commuting from most travel in 30 miles and for many like me it's about an hour.

when the temps get to minus 0 wind chills the sh!t don't work like it should, which is part of the reason they moved the game because of expected warmer temperatures in the evening hours. The Friday before Christmas the interstate was at a standstill. Someone my mom works with pee'd in her crockpot three times because she was stuck in her car for like 8 hrs. I kept getting caught by other mofo's who couldnt go anywhere so I abandoned my car and walked a couple miles after ditching my car. Finally went back and got it 2 days later.

Sounds like a good deal, right up until one realizes he would have to watch Alex Smith play QB

Similar to a Dak Prescott, without all the toys or the blockade in front of him.

That's just shocking to me. Face value was $90 for upper deck Auburn/Clemson. Regular season, smaller town, much bigger stadium.
