Any Luck or Alex Smith Owners Out There? Panicking yet?

So...what are you doing with either of these 2 slugs?

 

All the reports from training camp seemed to indicate that Luck was a good value pick, and Smith was a very safe, viable FF backup, if not a low end starter.

 

WTF???

 

The WW has been picked clean of even low end QB;s, leaving hot garbage like Tennehill and Prescott as the only remaining options.

 

What do you think, are you gonna try and ride it out with either of these QB'S? Or are you panicking and looking to trade for a better QB?

I took Alex Smith in the 12th round of my 12-teamer to be the backup to Big Ben (7th round).

 

The ONLY times that I plan to play Smith is Week 7 (vs. Dal; Ben's bye week) and Week 11 vs. the Texans. No way in hell I start Ben against the Jags defense in Jacksonville; he threw 5 picks the last time they played.

Luck has had one pretty good game and one not so good game, that has to kind of be expected after nearly two years out of football

If he is struggling by midseason then I would be concerned but it kind of goes without saying you should have prepared accordingly if you chose him.

It doesn't surprise me at all that Alex Smith has come back down to earth a bit. Washington doesn't have all the playmakers he had in KC.

Still he's about what you expect, a bus driver, in real football and fantasy.

Luck was fine in week 1 but low yardage total and 2 picks netted me only 13 pts last week.

luck has a great schedule going forward. was rather flukey that the redskins couldn't score at all vs the colts. more often than not the colts will need to score and luck will have 40+ pass attempts. i dont think he's going to get worse at least. should be a solid 20 points most weeks, just maybe not a league winner like we hoped.
