Is Samaje Perine really that bad?

Just surprised I got him at the end of the line on my waiver wire.

 

I know Chris Thompson is the one they feature, but Perine should still get GL and a decent amount of carries.

 

OL is getting healthier, good offense, maybe things start to slow down for Perine?

 

How'd he look against the Vikings D?

I was kind of leaning Clement. Just the hotter team right now. He's probably too far down the depth chart, but I'm curious to see how it shakes out with Ajayi and Blount.

Yea Perine was supposed to be the guy and they ran Thompson the majority of the game. Perine looked bad in limited touches.

yeah, I watched a part of a game recently and he actually looked slower than I was expecting.

 

Not sure if it's that he's slower than advertised or he's playing tentative and not hitting the hole hard and quick like he needs to.

 

this isnt uncommon for rookies sometimes it takes a while to adjust to the NFL game, but I was disappointed in what I saw.

Watched him multiple times at Oklahoma.. He's a insanely strong guy with very much of a "down-hill" running style.

He's not a guy who's going to do much without a decent o-line. He just isn't shifty enough to shed tacklers without some momentum.

Hes not bad. He just isnt a good fit in Washingtons style of offense imo
