eh, I thought it was nuts too. However, Gano had already missed a FG and an XP.

Oh god, no thanks, I hope Cooter gets run out of town soon too.

The Gurley owner won all three of my leagues, including the league I won.

By the definition in the rule book, it is not a catch. https://twitter.com/CBSSports/status/942553082130440192?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fbleacherreport.com%2Farticles%2F2749793-patriots-vs-steelers-twitter-explodes-after-jesse-james-td-reversal-late-int Argue that its a crappy rule, but you cannot argue that it is a reception based on the existing rules.

He was going to the ground in the process of making the catch. When a receiver is going to the ground during the catch, he must maintain possession through the ground. He didn't and a hand came of the ball, the ball was on the ground... no catch.

Not a catch. Signed, Calvin Johnson

Detroit at New Orleans: In-Game Discussion
slacker1989 replied to Mike FF Today's topic in FFToday Board
lol, yeah...cause it is such a great payback to win a meaningless game -
So if Cobb gets a punt or kick return TD, you expect points? What if he has to fill on defense due to injury, do you expect to get points for a interception returned for a TD? The source of the problem is how the NFL records the stats for fumble recoveries and if your league is setup to award points for those stats. If the offensive player that fumbles the ball recovers the fumble, any yardage and touchdowns are recorded as the original play type (rushing or receiveing). If a different player recovers the ball, any yardage and touchdowns are recorded as fumble yardage or a fumble recovery touchdowns. These kind of plays happen so rarely, most people would not realize that there is a seperate category or think to include them in their scoring. http://www.nflgsis.com/gsis/documentation/stadiumguides/guide_for_statisticians.pdf

ESPN Fantasy League Settings and Cobbs recovery for TD

We had the same situation. You never change the scoring system during the season, especially in week 13. -
I think it would be stupid, but feel free tot take one for the rest of us Julio owners.

Detroit Homers... - sense that Bush or Megatron Play sunday?
slacker1989 replied to seh2000's topic in FFToday Board
Johnson is sitting and even if he isn't sitting, he is nothing more than a decoy Bush wasn't effective when healthy, I'd stay away even if he plays. Bell, Riddick, and Winn are all available. Hopefully the Lions learned something seeing an injured player worsen their condition by playing decoy last week (Calvin's ankle got wrecked on his one catch). -
Riddick was ruled out last week with an injury and Bush got knocked out early. They fed Winn the ball because he was the last running back standing.

Non-FF related FU Henery 47 yarder missed 44 yarder missed 50 yard potential game winner missed and to add injury to insult Carpenter kicks a 58 yard game winner with 10 seconds left on 2nd down

Scheduling Ideas - owner in a 14 team league just bailed
slacker1989 replied to BigMilk's topic in FFToday Board
Had a similar problem one year. The league was setup with no dvisions, so each team played every other team once. We left the empty team in the schduled and calculated its score each week by averaging the others teams' scores for the week. It worked well in our situation, but it may not play out so well if you have divisions.
