Please Help Me Find A Trade... I'll answer yours

Below you will find my team followed by the other 9 teams in my league. They are in the order of our current standings after week 4. I also listed some current waiver wire players below. I am in 1st place and I want to know if there is any way I can improve my team.

 

These are essentially the questions I'm sparking with this post:

 

What trades can I make with other teams to improve mine?

Are any of these waiver wire players worth picking up?

Whose team is best in this league?

Am I looking alright going forward?

 

I AM knowledgeable about football, but I would like the opinions of other knowledgeable Fantasy managers. And of course, leave a link and I will answer yours...

Holy crap...how long did this take to type??? Yes, way too long if you want decent replies

 

Bottom line, you need a better WR3 (Amendola is garbage...he has missed something insane like 25 or last 36 games)...and I am shaky on Foster but you can wait there....keep Thomas and flip Cameron for a WR1 or high end WR2....

I think your best bet is with Team I. At 0-4, they are probably starting to feel pretty desperate. I would think they would be frustrated with Roddy and not happy with their TE mess.

 

Maybe try and get Roddy for Julius + someone else? You don't really need 2 top TEs and Roddy would be a great addition for the second half.

 

I think you could possibly update your QB also with Team I. You could see if Cam is available.

Trade J Thomas or J Cameron and K Thompkins for R White and Moreno With Team I

 

Then

 

Trade a WR (Amendola, White, Decker, Garcon, S Johnson) for Spiller with Team F

 

 

Would that fly?

If you trade Miller for Decker, you would be making yourself pretty thin at RB. You would be banking on Foster and Forte staying healthy all season.

 

I think you should try the Roddy and Moreno scenario first. If you could secure Moreno, then then you get good value trading Miller for Decker.

 

There is no way I can see the Spiller owner letting him go for any of the WRs you listed, but if they're willing, definitely do that.

It took me a while to get on sorry...it is a lot and Im not the best and creating trades. WR is definitely your "weak" area and you're pretty good everywhere else. Though me personally i'd say you're weak at QB too but that just because I really dislike Romos streakeiness.

 

My initial thought would be team G, with the right package you may be able to get welker away from him as he desperately needs a running back and hes gotta be getting sick of Gronks BS by now....

This really is a if it aint aint broke, dont fix it question. You are in first place and you got nice depth at all the major positions. I don't see why you even need to make a move at this point. The only place I see maybe WR with Amendola hurt always but you got depth there also. Foster and Forte are nice and Miller is a nice 3rd option. I don't think you need to make a move. I think if you can move Miller for a guy like Welker that would be good. Otherwise, stand pat. Your team is solid. Good luck. Please see mine.
