I tried playing the first one in the series and it really put me off when I didn't understand that the images of people doing things was them dying. Tropico 5 is out and I was tempted, but to celebrate launch they put Tropico 1-4 up for $10 and I bought that instead. I was a big WoW guy myself, but now I play Elder Scrolls Online. gocolts 300 Posted May 30, 2014 I have played many of the Half-Life games. Really liked them. I use to have this game demo of a game called Postal 2 that was kinda crazy. I could get a can of gas and a lighter. Then, I could pour gas on folks and set them ablaze. You could also whip out your cack and start pissing on folks. Sometimes they would start screaming and you could hear them gurgle on piss if you pissed in their mouth while they screamed. I am going to sign up right now and see if they still have that. What made the series great was the story, it was basically a movie that you played. But the only way to make a 4th game is to say that the end of the 3rd game never happened. At this point, wait for Battlefield Hartline (just announced). It's not far off. Battlefield 4 is good, though, as long as you prefer that series to say Call of Duty. I dropped $120 and added 56 Games to my collection. Never gonna finish all these damn things, but it's the principle of the matter! $2 games! Must...buy...more! I envy your restraint! The Forest is a decent Early Access (be warned - buggy) if DayZ and Rust are your cup of tea. A lot of my friends are really into 7 Days to Die as well. gocolts 300 Posted June 21, 2014 Looks like I wasted my money. I had STEAM many years ago due to Half-life games. STEAM was an absolute nightmare back then. Taking up WAY too many resources up on my PC. I could never do shtt when this steam was running. A few years later, I tried it again when another game I had required you to have STEAM. Same thing. Never even was able to play the game I bought because of this shtt. Now, today, same focking thing. NOTHING else will run if STEAM is even open.
