I traded Bell on friday

Recommended Posts

He was my first round pick but to be honest he not only does not look like the same player pitt is using juju smith schuster in packages they used to use bell in. I was not sold on him and regret taking him over brown.

That being said. In a 2 qb league I traded

Bell

Kizer

Coleman

for

Wentz

Jeffery

Ajayi

Coleman got hurt off the bat. Kizer had a horrible day and bell did not do shitt. ...again.

the 3 players I traded for got me 70 points compared to the 18 points the guys I traded combined for.

Moral of the story. Bell still carries name value even if he is not producing.

Bell has some bad juju right now, that's all.

Good trade for you because you essentially got a 3 for 1.

Generally speaking though, unless you can cash in big time for Bell, the smart thing to do is to ride it out with him. Not sure how anyone expected vintage Bell from the get go considering he missed the preseason. Obviously there's going to be some time before he's back to looking like his old self.

I'd be more concerned if Connor gets increased work going forward. But right now, it seems like they're trying to get him up to speed and knock off some rust. Should be a big game this weekend against Chicago.

Bell is in preseason right now.

I think it will be a mistake.

bell missed games last year due to the suspension and had 1 good game out of 6. Then he went on an unholy tear. Bear in mind, he was hurt in the playoffs last year, had offseason groin surgery then missed the entire preseason. They have new plays, new players and new wrinkles to the offense. He looked noticeably better this week than last week. The big output is coming.

But...It is curious that they are using him much less in the passing game. A bit worrisome.

In a Superflex/2QB league, that trade is criminal for you. You get a late 1st/early 2nd RB for Bell. Then you significantly upgrade your QB/WR situation. I'd easily give up Bell for that.

I immediately picked up Connor as soon as I traded bell.

Worst part about the deal for you, is that you ended up with two players with the Eagles.

Ff season over.

Excellent trade. I am NOT in the wrong forum. I am pretty sure I have been here long enough to know where to put my topics. Thanks though. Also if you are going to call me out for a bad trade use your real freaking handle. Not some Alias that has had less than 300 posts in 8 years.

You basically traded Bell for Ajayi...that's a bad trade. And rate my trade is the wrong forum. With 25,372 posts, you should know better...fail x2

Did I ask anyone to rate it moron? Not once will you ever see in this topic me asking anyone to rate it. Also if it were in the wrong forum I am pretty sure mike would have moved it by now. Sooooo seeing as how that did not happen and till it does. Feel free to climb back under whatever alias rock you came out from under. I just felt like sharing my trade.

Also I am not taking advice from someone who can not see the value of Wentz/Jeffery in a superflex 2 qb league and considers the trade just Bell for Ajayi.

Thanks for playing

Fair. And this moron still says its a bad trade.

Keep this fresh throughout the season. Us moron's have trouble finding threads throughout a long season. I just want to be able to remind you that no matter the format, you screwed up here...

I think I'm guilty of missing the superflex 2 QB part, which makes this a better trade. But lots of people have the viewpoint of which ever person gets the better player is the one that "wins" the trade.

Crazy to think that you ever gets the better player wins the trade.

This

In a normal league I'd say it's not nearly as good, but in a 2 QB league or a superflex league, this is a Great return.

The upgrade in QB largely makes up for the downgrade in RB and you get an extra starter (Jeffery) out of the deal.

Here we go again Kilroy trading Bell. You got a decent rb in return so it's fine. You got 3 startable players and gave up 1.

pretty sure kilroy drafts bell just to trade him later then post it here to bring out anger from everyone.

I actually don't hate this trade for you. I just hope Ajayi doesn't break his knees over 16 weeks of straight football.

hahahaha. It's my goal. In my defense though my team name is who wants to trade and no one's untouchable. I feel like if I can get production from 3 players for the price of one it's a value.

I was going to offer Freeman/Stafford (I have brady) to the bell owner (he has dalton/flacco as qbs) but now I am not so sure I want to.

I would shop Bell as I don't think he's going to be a fantasy stud as projected this year, but I don't think I'll get value for him anyway, so might as well ride him for now.

That is a great trade. You give up ~15 points a week with boom/bust potential and get a Top 10 RB, Top 20 WR, and Top 10 QB. Its always hard to give up names like Bell, but like people are saying, he is "in the preseason" and that is where injuries occur.

Your team is collectively much better now.

Keep in mind, it's the rules of the league that make this deal a good one.

Lots of people just look at the players and think in terms of the value of those players in their own league.

In a 2 QB or superflex league, QB's take on substantially higher value, RB's slightly lower value relative to a normal league.

Whether it is wise to have traded Bell at all

I think getting Wentz may prove to be the prize of this deal. Especially in a 2 QB league. Assuming his stats continue as it has.

This is where the true value of the deal in question.

I think you may have gained more in the end.

Just offered Gillislee/Burkhead/Evans for Bell/Connor/D. Parker. 0.5 ppr. Gillislee probably won't catch a pass this year but already has 4 TD's.

I don't think this was mentioned yet but Ajayi has already had his bye week which makes him a little more valuable since Bell still has his coming up. I'm not sure I would have made the trade but the more I think about it the more it does make some sense.

So far it has worked out. Its just been one week but I feel more comfortable with my team now than I did before.
