Labat is a dumbass

yes he is so he fits right in. Most of them are dumbasses.

Zhu was not drawing dead preflop. They could have peeled off a 4 cards to a straight on the board to the Q and he ties the other guy with a K high straight. As a matter of fact, they could have flopped a straight on the board below Q and they chop it.

I can't tell on my computer but does that show Zhu drawing dead because he wasn't. They could have peeled off a 4 cards to a straight on the board to the Q and he ties the other guy with a K high straight.

He wasn't drawing dead until the turn card. I think that it was a 0.x% chance that they were showing. :dunno:

Crazy hand to happen at that point in time. Guy still made over $800k. :o

Correct. He could have split at best.. but what were the odds to split, especially with 2 aces already in play

3 aces in play (one guy folded and ace), but I think he is talking the 2 kings chopping and not the aces.

Those odds were to win the pot outright, not split.

Would have been great for Zhu to pull a straight flush.

Would have been great for Zhu to pull a straight flush.

His needed Q's were in the next 2 guys hands. But that would have been hilarious.

Those guys with the KK's must have wanted to puke when they saw the cards.

Labat, who was the last guy to call with KK, is a stooge. This isn't a home tournament when people go all in with A7 off.

This was to decide who would make the final table. No way, no how can you ever make that call., you have to know someone has AA or even AK (which is far less likely), can't chance your tournament life there, after 2 all ins before your turn.,

I know it';s not easy to lay KK down, but you at that point, it has to be done

here are the payouts for the final table.

2018 Main Event Payouts
1st: $8,800,000
2nd: $5,000,000
3rd: $3,750,000
4th: $2,825,000
5th: $2,150,000
6th: $1,800,000
7th: $1,500,000
8th: $1,250,000
9th: $1,000,000

he ended up with 650k

It's a laydown all day after 43.1 million chips go all in in front of you. Just another donk who donked his way to the last 11 players. You have 41.6 million chips and 43.1 million just went all in. You are like 3rd or 4th in chips. 100% donk move. AA was locking in the heads up vs the short stack with his all in move. Donk just decided he need to be a loser as well. All he saw was that with KK he can own 100+ million chips if he continues donking like he has the whole tourney. DONK!

Joe Cada in final table again is actually impressive. He has the chance to be the 1st guy to be a two time winner since the # of players increased dramatically.

I don't watch much, because I'm tired of ESPN being so predictable with what they show. 9 out of 10 times, they show the suck out. It's annoying as fock.

I think the final table is all live though, which I prefer.

what idiot calls Kings after that?

dude with AA snap calls, its pretty obvious what he has

Most of these people are complete dumbfucks. A skilled player would imagine he was in the other guys shoes (the AA guy) and imagine what he would do after the shorter stack went all in, knowing a guy with 42 million chips is right behind him. You are right, only AA goes all in that fast risking 1/2 his stack. That's why KK was a total donk. He had probably gone all in a few times and sucked out winners and thought it was gonna happen again.

in this setting, with that much money on the line, even the noobiest of noobs finds a lay down there.

I admit, I wouldn't lay KK down in any tournament I typically play in. They usually last 5 hours and you're lucky to get dealt KK once.

These guys have literally been playing for 72 hours for fock sakes

I just checked the final table and LABAT made the final table, because he had chips left over.

He's not out of it yet! he is low stack though

24 mil wasn't really a short stack, the initial raise was 1.5 mil, so 24 mil while not the top is substantial, I could understand if it was 7 mil all-in followed by snap call, but it was all-in followed by all-in over the top

That's true. 24 mill aint going all in without a huge hand. At least he shouldn't with 2 guys behind him.

My bad,. (no surprise)

no you actually mentioned it, I was just clarifying it for LOD0I

I see. he was already in for a few million chips before he called the other guy. So he had the most chips, of the 3, before the hand. he's still a donk.
