FishHead 3 Posted May 28, 2018 Sunday night from 9 pm - 11 pm was episodes 1 & 2. Monday night from 7 pm - 9 pm repeats episodes 1 & 2 and then from 9 pm - 11 pm finishes up with episodes 3 & 4. I suggest EVERYONE watch this. So damn informative. History in schools should be taught this way. I lived through it and things have changed so much. So much. But it has been 50 years. Nowadays they are too busy setting fire to fellow black owned business and running away in 300$ shoes to see how great they (and everyone else) has it. EternalShinyAndChrome 2,513 Posted May 28, 2018 1968 sucked balls. 1969 was a much better year. In fact, the greatest year.

To compare the treatment of AA citizens then to now is ridiculous. And the left knows it, but they don't have much else going for them.
BunnysBastatrds 1,913 Posted May 29, 2018 Just as the hippies and LBJ were focking America over, Gen X was born in order to try to restore sanity to the mad, mad world they were creating. And we overestimated those hippies and their future influence of our future. And we gen x failed as adults to counter them. And here we are.
BunnysBastatrds 1,913 Posted May 29, 2018 Fock you. That's the year I was born. Me also. Do you remember most of the 70's? I do. Space, war, free fawking, bad government. I remember those things more than my Evil Knieval, bikes, hot wheels, and all of the tv we were forced to watch. Life became not nearly as fun for Gen X as our parents was. The unit wasn't there anymore. I used to wish that I'd have been born in 55. Glad I wasn't. I'd be ashamed to know today where my generation has left this country. Thornton Melon 543 Posted May 29, 2018 The first real "historic" event I can remember in my lifetime was the RFK assassination. Well, actually his funeral. I remember going to my aunt's house, watching the funeral and playing with my cousins that day. It was a big deal to my parents and aunts and uncles, I guess, but not to a 4 year old. I'm sure CNN will show it again, I'll DVR it if they do. Might be interesting...

BunnysBastatrds 1,913 Posted May 29, 2018 Do you remember the scrapped knuckles (on the sidewalk) from the Evel Knievel motorcycle that you revved up by hand? I do. I was in a store called Mantiques in Dallas a few years ago. it's basically an antique store for men who want to fill their man caves. Had everything you needed from the seventies and eighties to make you feel your youth again. They had a few Evel Knievel motor bikes in various conditions. The guy handed me one in bad shape so I could check them out. First thing I remembered, scraped knuckles whilst revving it up.
