2018 NFC East Thread

I cant take the Skins seriously. They could go 10-6 and make the playoffs but so what? They never build through the draft so theyll need a franchise QB 3 years from now anyway. And probably a new GM and head coach too.

Prescott hasn't broken 200 yards passing in his last five games... This is going to be a long year for Dallas and Elliot as teams will stack the box and dare Prescott to beat them...

Dallas is a pitiful 8 for 34 on 3rd down this year.......... Only Zona is worse. :barf:

Hey Pork, what do you think of the eagles Pass D? They are murder on the run, but I think you can beat them in the air.

it'll be fine. sydney jones still comin along. will need to address one safety in coming years. sooper dooper def line has to step it up. i think they been pretty disappointng so far. once they do...secondary will follow.

I hope you're wrong, lol. But that's some good analysis there. Stick around in this thread. We have plenty of Redskin, Cowboy and Giants fans.

Defense is. Not sure so far about the O.

You still think they are legit?

Allowing 430 yards in their last five games?

Dallas has improved, some..... They are now 17th in 3rd down conversions.

Alarming stat: Dallas ranks 23rd in total 1st downs.. The only teams they have more than are - OAK, WAS, JAX, NYG, TEN, BUF, MIA,. NYJ and ARI.................Wow. :o

If only they had an offense they'd be Kansas City. :dunno:

I hate the fact that I have been the voice of reason in this thread (and the Dallas threads) with regard to Dallas. They might be the 2nd best NFC team. Don't sleep on Seattle.

The Rams and Saints are both better than Dallas.

Dallas got Brees on what might be the worst game of his career and won by 3. Play that game 100 times and the Saints win 97 of them.

Arent you the guy who put Cowboys in tier 3 a week ago? Or was that someone else?

Werent you also claiming the Saints threw the game?

Thats the voice of reason?

Yes they beat the Saints, but I doubt theyd be able to do it again.

Yes they beat the Saints, but I have my doubts that theyd be able to do it again.

No doubt... Hell, I have my doubts about beating Philly this weekend.

As good as this defense is playing, Dallas is still 25th in Total Offense.....24th in Total Points Scored... That's not very assuring.

They won a big game and moved to 2nd tier. The Rams are a tier of their own.

Saints, Dallas, Seattle and Bears are now 2nd. These things do change. :dunno:

I just skimmed over about 10 power rankings (ESPN, CBS Sports, Spoeting News etc.) and not one of them had Dallas ahead of New Orleans. Not a single one.

I understand this is all mostly opinions, but the Saints did beat the Rams by 10 last month. I think those are still the 2 best teams in the conference.

I don't see much separation between the rest unless/until Trubisky gets back on the field and starts producing like he did before the shoulder injury. That would give the Bears an edge.

Early line has DAL -4.

WAS, with Mark Sanchez, is -1.5 against NY..... geez, how embarrassing is that?

Not nearly as embarrassing as one playoff win in 20 plus years. That shite is downright shameful.

The gambler in me loves that the giants are getting points. I cant wait to bet on them.

I sure did.

4 Lombardi holders don't hit our nerves.. but it's cute you think you do.

Might go and try an Iggs or Skins fan - you can be a big fish in that pond.

Where are you seeing that? I bet through FanDuel and sugarhouse sportsbook online and they have the Giants at -3.5 and -4. If you know somewhere that has Giants +1.5, let me know and Ill bet there.

There are sites that offer different point spreads at different odds. I use a site that offers point spreads ranging from -20 to +20 when it gets closer to gameday for both teams. But all that said, right now it has the Giants at -3.5 at -110.

The Champs are 9-1 in their last 10 against the NYG.

And of course we won the Super Bowl in February. :first:

I saw it a couple different places..... I'm guess many had the same reaction - I'd be wiling to be the line moved already.

Jerry says Sean Lee will get his job back and start over Vander Esch when healthy. https://cowboyswire.usatoday.com/2018/12/04/dallas-cowboys-sean-lee-injury-update-jerry-jones/

Never mind Vander Esch has led a goup that's run off and shut down 4 straight, never mind Vander Esch has had 10 tackles in each of his last 4 starts - let's send him to the bench. :wall:

Stupid. Lee is solid when 100% but he rarely is. Vander is lighting it up. They should figure out a way to play Vander, Lee and Jaylon together as much as possible against the top running backs. Barkley's the only one they'll face during the reg season.
