Sho Nuff 719 Posted April 14, 2017 Love it...haven't watched the third yet...first two were quite funny. I thought I hit rock bottom in a handicap restroom in Bangkok where a Thai lady-boy snorted crank off my johnson while a sunburnt German watched us on the toilet
parrot 789 Posted April 14, 2017 "That ball cannot be buried in a Jewish cemetery because it just got tattooed!" Funny show. And Amanda Peet seems to be getting better with age. Episodes available online.
wiffleball 4,631 Posted April 14, 2017 I really wonder how much is Improv. That would be far more impressive.
Mike Honcho 4,010 Posted April 14, 2017 Kind of wondering where Posty is going to land on this one...it's a comedy, but it sort of has baseball.
parrot 789 Posted April 14, 2017 Kind of wondering where Posty is going to land on this one...it's a comedy, but it sort of has baseball. It will be the greatest comedy ever even though there's nothing funny about it. Also he never heard of it.
kutulu 1,542 Posted June 1, 2017 One episode in but pretty good so far
Mike Honcho 4,010 Posted June 1, 2017 One episode in but pretty good so far And I thought the first episode was a bit forced, really picks up steam around 2 or 3.
frank 2,144 Posted June 2, 2017 I like it but after a few episodes it just seemed like more of the same.
Vince44 202 Posted June 5, 2017 Frackers win! Loved that episode. Jim Brockmire and Joe Buck were hilarious in the season finale. Amanda Peet rocks as Jules in this show.
wiffleball 4,631 Posted June 5, 2017 Yeah great show. The ep about the Plan B pill was hysterical. And yeah, I'd imagine a lot of improv. Outtakes are probably great.
Vince44 202 Posted April 24, 2018 Finally....Season Two begins Wednesday night. Best comedy on TV.
wiffleball 4,631 Posted April 24, 2018 Finally....Season Two begins Wednesday night. Best comedy on TV. Agreed. And how damn good is Amanda Peet still look? I'm guessing about 78% of rock Mars lines are completely impromptu. Would love to see the outtakes.
Mike Honcho 4,010 Posted April 25, 2018 Agreed. And how damn good is Amanda Peet still look? I'm guessing about 78% of rock Mars lines are completely impromptu. Would love to see the outtakes. Azzaria sat in on the entire LeBatard show a few weeks ago, stayed in the Brockmire character the entire time---feuded on air with Joe Buck, entire show was hysterical. Azzaria is comendy gold. Since then he's been calling in to the show about once a week to comment, funny stuff. Get the podcast of that show, great 90 minutes to hear.
Vince44 202 Posted April 25, 2018 A preview of tonight's season two premiere.... "The Getaway Game" Now calling minor league games in New Orleans, Jim Brockmire is up for the major leagues in Atlanta. He competes against Raj, a likeable young announcer; Charles works on the podcast despite Brockmire's antics.
Vince44 202 Posted April 25, 2018 Agreed. And how damn good is Amanda Peet still look? I'm guessing about 78% of rock Mars lines are completely impromptu. Would love to see the outtakes. She looks great. Brockmire better fight to win Jules back. She was pissed at him at the end of Season One.
Reality 2,710 Posted April 25, 2018 Worked from home today, marathon on IFC, watched them all. Meh, it's decent.
