Chris Carson going forward in future

What are his prospects this year and beyond?

 

I have s solid chance of trading for him in my dynasty league. Could use him this year to help win as I have a top 3 team. But what are his prospects past this year? He is young. I realize they want Penny in next year if he improves. But what is the word on how they feel about Carson? Any chance he keeps the gig for next year too?

short term was added to injury list this week. limited yesterday with hip.

 

probably maintenance but pay attention to todays practice

Penny will learn this season, and complete for the rb1 with the Hawks next season.

 

So it could be a true RBBC or penny out right wins the rb1 job.

 

Rest of this season I think Carson will be the rb1.

He obviously wasnt a stud prospect voming out. But at what 24 years old and as good as he had looked....would he get a chance elsewhere? If Penny takes over next year do they shop Carson?

 

I know they would like Penny to be the guy. But I wasnt high on him coming out and thought he got way overhyped. Not sure they would just turn to him if Carson is still easily better.

Don’t see them shopping Carson if Penny takes over, because I don’t see either of them taking over.

Carson doesn't catch well. He'll always be a 1st and 2nd down guy which would be enough except for this...

 

His coach is an a-hole, PITA to fantasy people. Carroll reminds me of Shanahan the Dad - lies constantly about injuries and his plans to use his backs.

 

Earlier this year, he made it appear that Carson would play, and stuck us with a zero as his replacement got 2 TDs and > 100 yards.

 

This week, he overplays Carson's hip injury so you can't start him. Watch him go for 2 TD's on on everyone's bench.

Penny seems like a bad pick. I'd bet on Carson being the starter there. But if you're in a ppr league his upside a little limited.

I’m not so sure they have their future rb1.

 

Davis has looked like the best one at times also.
