Driving down to North Wildwood for the week.

Isn't Wildwood a teenage - early twenties kind of atmosphere ?

The boardwalk gets some of that. North Wildwood is all new build condos and very quiet at night. My son loves it there.

I was a Point Pleasant / LBI guy. Haven't been to Jersey Shore in 25 years. Except a few AC trips

Sounds like a lot of fun! Raining here.

Anyways, enjoy! And stay the f#ck out of trouble. I don't want to be getting a phone call at 11pm tonight having to bail you out of jail.

thank you for your understanding. Now remember, if all they're doing is grilling burgers and brats and stuff, that's not a barbecue. Don't drink and drive. And don't get hit by any tornadoes. And avoid the duck boat rides. Will expect a full report as to the menu.

As for plans, I'm heading to the gym in an hour, then picking up a Uhaul to move my son home from his apartment tomorrow. Later heading back to the gym for a pot luck/BBQ.

Thoughts and prayers about your son moving back in.

It's not a bad thing. He graduated college and has a good paying job lined up, but it doesn't start until September and his lease in his current shiothole near college is up. Plus his job starts with a rotation program so he may not be in Phoenix to begin. Either way he's out on his own come September.

But on a positive note, now Jerrys 20-something girlfriends can stop by the house again without raising suspicion.

Jesus I hope not.

I got two and a half months to remodel our kitchen. So we gotta go find floor and backsplash tile.

Honestly, going to farmer's markets was one of my favorite work related activities. Food and wine samples/tasting were always fun. When we used to visit Europe, the local markets were outstanding.
