firehawks 0 Posted July 31, 2006 I am in a 16 team league. We start 1 qb/2 rb/3 wr/te/k/def/st. Scoring system is as follows: RB/WR/TE: 6 pts td. 1 pt per 25 yds rush/rec. 1 pt bonus at 100 yds. 2 pt bonus at 30 carries/10 catches. 2 pt bonus td over 50 yds. QB: 1/2 pt per 50 yds passing. 4 pt passing td, 6 pt rushing td. 1 pt bonus at 300 yds. 2 pt bonus at 30 completions and td > 50 yds. I drew the 11th spot in 1st round. Serpentine draft. Should I lock into taking a rb, or consider P. Manning or Steve Smith (assuming he is healthy). RBs I am looking at are Ronnie Brown, Carnell Williams, Rudi Johnson. (all other big names will be gone)/ Dont pick again until # 22. Please advise.
tampa_fan_01 0 Posted July 31, 2006 Get one of those young, stud RBs. Manning might fall to you at your next pick.
Trey5 0 Posted July 31, 2006 At 11 you's have a sure thing running back still available - you'll have to take him. I'd also take another RB @ 22 because they are going to FLY off the board with 16 teams needing them.
akaoni 0 Posted July 31, 2006 Agreed, as attractive as some WR/QB choices are you have to grab a RB with at least your #1 pick. It's all about supply and demand, and there are just too few RBs to fill the demand, especially in a 16 team league...
