Exactly....trade down if you can and take the BPA (which could be Brady) and the extra pick.
-
Agreed. Either is a solid choice, but Jones' presence is probably the difference for me as well. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=318815

Have to keep LJ or MJD. I've wavered back and forth on both. 1 pt for every 10 yards rushing and receiving. Non PPR. Thanks, cuse.

I think you have more value by going with Jacobs.....unless you are completely sold that Jacobs is going to go down to an injury. I'd go with Jacobs personally and try to pick up another QB. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=318815

I'd go with Stewart. Please see mine. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=318815

* Clash's 12 Team 4 Keeper League- RECRUITING AGAIN 4 NEW MEMBERS

I am back. Just got your emails. Checking in on the site today. -
Can you make a reasonable guess on who the team with the #1 pick will be keeping? If he has RB/RB, then he may pick TO at #1 if he's available. However, if he's protecting a stud WR, then he'll probably pick a RB at #1. Take that into account. Personally, without knowing anything else I'd pick Caddy and Edge and see if TO is there at #2 if you want him.
-
I'm not high on Jamal Lewis, but he should definitely be your 3rd keeper. He's being picked 3 rounds above Bulger and 4 rounds above Culpepper in an average 12 team draft, and he's an RB, and nobody can deny that there's a CHANCE that he could bounce back to his 1,500 yard form. I disagree with the last poster. Those other guys will be there for your pick in the 1st if you want them. Jamal may or may not be, but you don't have that many better options. As a 4th pick it gets tricky.

This is a "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" trade. In other words, both sides can see value, it's not clearly lopsided, so therefore shouldn't be vetoed. My guess is that most people who want a veto think the team giving up Chambers and Parker is getting too much in return (maybe I'm wrong with that guess), but I personally think that team 2 is getting the shorter end of the stick when you look at their rosters.

Assuming those other top RBs will be kept (SA, LT, LJ, CP, TB) and you firmly like Caddy more than those others, then part of me says to keep him. However, if you have to unload him at week 10 then it may be worth the risk to try and re-pick him at #2 so you can have the option to keep him for the entire season. Regarding Jones, I would make a top 15 list of your own personal doing and if he falls in it, then keep him. That "2nd keeper" spot really equates to the 15th pick since it is definite that 15 (or 16) players will be taken before you can re-pick in that spot. If he's in your top 15, then keep both.

How many can you keep? You didn't say.

I'd go with Westbrook in almost every format.

Need help please on what to do with 2 first round picks?
ohiostfb replied to throttlers's topic in A Little Help!
I like waiting on QBs, and I don't see a ton of value with Peyton at #7. Just my take though, and I'm usually the last guy or 2 in my league to grab a QB (so take that into consideration with my advice). SA and Portis is a no brainer, but SA and Barber, Jackson, Johnson, Jordan, Brown, James......or whichever of these guys you like, is also very nice. I don't think there's a WR worth of a top 7 pick, and the RBs will look pretty thin at the end of the 3rd or top of the 4th. I would go RB/RB. Now, deciding who (after Portis) is tough. Considering Edge's concerns going into this season, the thing I may lean towards focusing on is who is most proven, and that would be Tiki and Rudi. Both of those guys are the most likely to finish in the top 10 out of that next group you're deciding between (not counting Portis), but some of those other guys may be flashier. When in doubt, go for the "sure thing." (not that one of those really ever exists) -
My suggestion would be to delete this and take this question to the compiler message board. You'll have better luck there.

1) Trade Down 2) If #1 doesn't work, take Tiki ---------------------- 3) Alternate ending: Sit on the pick (think Minnesota Vikings) and turn it over to the next guy, then just jump back in the draft when you feel there's good value
