The zone which appears to be slightly different than in our actual airspace.

 

They have done it more recently than usual, but its pretty much been talked about as something they have done as training exercises for a while.

While I generally favor decreasing our intervention overseas, I'm pretty much OK with this. These psychos have the potential of doing serious damage, especially if they move out of Iraq into more (relatively) stable countries. If we can impair their effectiveness, especially without putting our troops at much risk, it's not a bad thing.

 

On a side note, this is the stuff that makes me at anyone who believes Israel is the problem in the Middle East.
