People that want gender related parades can organize thier own but I don't want a straight parade. I just want a non-gender-related-themed St. Patrick's Day or Thanksgiving Parade.

Not only that, I think we should have a WET channel on the boobtube.

I'll drink and eat stuffing to that.

Good point.

Ride in my parade and throw titty beads to titties that beg you to and say that.

Fair enough. I played trumpet in the band and while it helped me to score numerous color guard girls, marching in November in Pennsylvania was painfully ghey. I mean seriously, who wants to stand out there in that shiot weather and watch it, let alone have to walk in it holding a cold brass instrument to your frozen lips?

I would definitely take you up on your offer though, if I were single.

OK this works in theory. In practice, I would have to leave the kids at home with their mother.

I throw titty beads to milfs that beg for them standing behind their kids. And all of my throws are labeled :Made In China: irony.

I can't pretend to understand what a parade is like without throwing or catching something. Waving without a drink in hand whilst watching toilet paper and spray painted floats with the mayors phat daughter front and center is beyond my comprehension. Flounder: "Can I have ten thousand marbles please?" Is the only way I could handle it.

Marching bands....smh. Nothing accentuates the gap between the athletic kids and the nerds like mixing them together at sporting events.

"Ok everybody....good half by the home team...now at halftime your school marching band!!"

"Neeeeerrrrrrrrdddsssss!!!!"

Lots of chicks in the band.

He plays baseball, too, so his odds are better than if he was just a band geek.

I love it. I'll take a nerd over a cool kid any day of the week.

Straight A student, no discipline issues, good friends, awesome sense of humor, good looking.

The dude is the total package

I was in band and ran track. :ninja:

I played soccer, golf, tennis and ran track.

I should have ran cross country instead of played soccer to be a real special person

Oh, don't sell yourself short. You're definitely "special".

To respond to the op, the idea is that you have to be a group that has suffered some form of persecution or judgement in order to justify a parade. A straight parade wouldnt qualify. Its really not a crazy concept, however I do understand people trying to be snarky by flipping the tables. "Why dont we have white history month?" and other arguments of that ilk.

Freshman year I was in band.

Also played baseball and basketball.

I hung with the nerd crowd and the band crowd (though, it was mostly one crowd at that school as over half of the freshman basketball team was in all the smart classes with the band "nerds")

Changed after I moved (far different at the school in TN than it was where I grew up).

Quit band, played basketball and ran track.

Still was in all the smart classes...with a few athletes. Hung with the basketball team mostly and quite a few baseball players.

Nothing wrong with learning an instrument.

My son probably won't be as they make you chose between band and the other related arts in 5th grade (art, music, foreign language and they lump PE in there) and he won't give up his PE. Plays soccer and basketball.

Maybe ill get him a guitar or something to have him learn more about music. I think its a good skill to know about music and how to read music.

Might even learn the guitar with him as I wish I had learned it or stuck with piano when I was younger.

Interesting. So that's why they have a parade? I thought they have their parades to celebrate who they are and to look at me.

The annual gay pride parade in SF is about celebrating how far they've come from having to hide in the closet as well as obtaining equal rights as a couple. I think there will always be a pride parade because unlike like racial equality and women's rights, this will most likely never be accepted by the mainstream in all states like these other groups now are.

Maybe it's just me, but the band girls at any school I ever went to weren't exactly the ones you were dying to fock. Now I'm sure there was a diamond in the rough here or there but, by and large...thanks but no thanks

My daughter want's to join band. After reading enough stories in here, I told her only if she gets straight A's. That's not gonna happen.

if these parades are all about pride and celebrating how far they've come...while do they prance around naked and act like focking sickos in them?

Agree with this.

The simple fact there a band folk here means my days may be numbered.

Focking band :shakeshead:

I lettered in baseball and golf, and did basketball and track earlier. As I've often told people, while the football players were on the bus with other sweaty football players, I was copping feels on the band chicks. And we had a big, good band with lots of chicks to choose from. :)

Not in the gay pride parade. No one naked there. There was a Halloween party in SF years ago where me and the fam went in the Castro. There were naked folks and grandma was :shocking: . That's since been banned. In every large gathering you are bound to find some weirdos especially if alcohol is involved.
