MRGIBBS 0 Posted August 21, 2006 RB's are your Weakest IMO SJAX, Lots of Question marks on him this year. Can he stay healthy, New coach, etc. Rhodes may havejob taken over by addai Bell, he is the #1 listed right now but Shanny likes to play head games with the Media Love the WR's Please see mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=223000
wave150 0 Posted August 21, 2006 I agree with last post... but in a 12-team league that's still not a bad RB draft. You have some possible upside with Deangelo Williams, but only 2 guaranteed starting backs as of now. Good QB and WR situation though. I would be a little worried about your RBs. I like SJax this year, and Caddy could be great, but I worry about his injuries. 2 of your 3 backups are backups for now, so if 1 or 2 goes down, you could be in trouble, but if they stay healthy, you have a great starting duo. I'm really high on M. Bell. I was targeting him in the 5th round, but he went in the 4th (I also had the 10 spot), so I'm really surprised you got him so late. Good pick...he may end up starting for you quite a bit. He has much better vision than T. Bell, and he's faster than I thought. His 2 goal line TDs last weekend are promising. I think you reached a little on Matt Jones, as I got him in the 8th, but your receivers look decent

His RB2s are no more questionable than most other teams. I'm really confused what drafts most people get into here. I say he did pretty damned good. I'd say his WRs are a bit sketchy, but only if I knew whether he gets 6 per pass TD or not. If only 4 pts per pass TD, I'd say I would've grabbed the best available WR at that spot and settled for a QB later. This team will be a good team in my opinion. I wish FFtoday could incorporate a color/naming scheme whereby we follow the naming convention they use and it would color code the players to what bye weeks they're in. BYE week impacts are gonna suck this year with the expanded team list on two weeks.

Thanks to AOL's god awful rankings MBell wasn't even listed (had to use the search function) which is why I'm pretty sure I got him when I did, but I might've been able to get him later due to the less than computer-savy drafters in my league. At this point I'm wondering about trades.. who I should target RB wise and WR wise... looking at other teams in the league though I think I did pretty well. I'll have to go over the scoring again to make sure I didn't undervalue WRs.
