  1. Which QB to start Week 4 - Bledsoe, Favre, or Leinart?
  2. ironore

    DeAngelo Williams

    Start DeAngelo and Clark
  3. If you are in a keeper league, hedge by taking Deion Branch in the 12th round, and then take Chad Jackson in the 13th round.

    Trading LT....

    Rudi and Hines Ward.
  5. You should think about starting Parker instead of Dunn.

    Keeper League

It's all pretty good. What is the format re: what positions do you start and how many? Incredible depth at QB. Nice move snagging Betts away from the Portis owner. My favorite pick that you got was Lundy. I'll bet he was your very last pick. I don't like Gonzo - you should probably get some depth there. Also, a rookie or year2 receiver wouldn't be bad either. Use one of your QBs and/or one of the quality backs you have to fill those gaps with rookies. You wouldn't have to give up much.

    Trade Help Homies....leave a link

Jones and Jenkins for Chambers is a great deal! Jones is the worst RB on your roster. If you only start 2 RBs and 3 WRs, you need Chambers. One point per reception.

Would anyone accept any of these trade offers?

Trades 1&2: This is a good idea. People out there might do this trade. If they accept, pull the trigger. Trade 3: Don't do it. You don't need Plax. Trade 4: No one would ever accept that trade.

    RB Situations Across The League

Detriot Lions: Kevin Jones - Should see most of the carries Arlen Harris - Shawn Bryson - Artose Pinner - Green Bay Packers: Ahman Green - should see limited carries to keep him healthy Najeh Davenport - 15% of the carries Samkon Gado - 20% of the carries Kevin Jones - Should see most of the carries should have a ? at the end. Calhoun should be added to the Detroit list. Davenport's percentage should be higher than 15% this year.

    Who are you draftng first?

Exactly. Take Benson first. Worst case scenario: Benson fails and Jones is resurrected as number 1. Best case scenario: Benson succeeds and Jones moves on to another team that needs him as a number 1. This scenario is great for a keeper league situation. If Jones ends up with the right team next season, he will be a very high pick. NB: The Bears are spoiled right now with their RBs - and they know it. They don't pay TJones very much money. I think they will keep him around for the rest of this season as insurance for Benson. Depending on how Benson works out, they can trade TJones at the beginning of next season, and let that team renegotiate his contract.

Owner Threatens To Quit The League

I hate when keeper leagues re-draft. It shouldn't be allowed.
  13. I am in a keeper league where you can keep 3 players. My keepers are RBrown, RWayne, and Boldin. I will have the 5th, 11th, and 33rd picks overall. I pretty much have to take RBs with the 5 and 11. The RBs that will be available to me will probably be: KJones, DFoster, WDunn, FGore, JLewis, CTaylor, AGreen, CDillon, CBenson, and all of the RB rookies except for Bush. I am leaning towards JLewis at the 5, and then the best value that falls to 11. I am wondering if it would be smart to just lock in a running game with the 5 and 11 to be conservative, even if it is a reach? Example: take DFoster and then DWilliams, or take CBenson and then TJones, or take CDillon and then Maroney. This way I cover some risk, and also invest in the young players for next season. Also, how do you guys compare the DFoster/DWilliams, CBenson/TJones, and CDillon/Maroney situations? Can DWilliams run the inside? The sports media always describe DWilliams' speed as 'electrifying', however he runs a 4.55. I want to believe in Benson, and there is tons of upside if TJones gets traded (if he goes to the Colts or to the Broncos he will skyrocket to a top 5 pick in my opinion). Maroney doesn't have many moves, but he seems surprisingly hard to wrap up. He has long legs, and has an upright style of running - I am worried that this will make him prone to leg injuries. There are a lot of topics brought up on this one, guys. Enjoy.

    Bad pick of Portis?

To me, LJordan was a given, but with the likes of CWilliams, RBrown and Rudi Johnson still on the board, was Portis the right pick? I don't think that LJordan is a given in this scenario. You should have taken Portis and Rudi (or Ronnie and Rudi).
