Football is over, March is two weeks away...time for year thirteen of the Geek Club NCAA Tournament Hat contest. For those unfamiliar with the contest, geeks select a team to represent them in the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. If your team defeats a team represented by a fellow geek, that geek must send you their team's hat (or a shirt, etc. which can be negotiated between the two parties). Once the brackets have been revealed, any requests to select an available team must be approved by the owners of teams that are in their region (to prevent cherry-pickers).

I might take my SDSU again, but really not impressed with our play this year. Looking like a 11-12 seed and a one and done. Want to see how we close out the season against New Mexico and UNLV.

 

One positive thing I got out of this. I sent Strike a t-shirt last year. I always thought he was a giant doosh, but he's actually a super cool dude, when politics and internets aren't involved.

You can take Maryland as KU and Nova owners both accepted all challenges. Someone tried to get Oregon but Duke didn't give an approval. Utah would only need approval from the Virginia owner.
