Fumbleweed 426 Posted March 15, 2018 TW follows his Double w/Birdie. He has birdied all three Par-5s thus far. They are all get-able holes on this course. Must birdies if you want to win the tournament.
Cruzer 1,992 Posted March 15, 2018 He has birdied all three Par-5s thus far. They are all get-able holes on this course. Must birdies if you want to win the tournament. Which was the hallmark of his career - nothing new.
Fumbleweed 426 Posted March 15, 2018 Which was the hallmark of his career - nothing new. Definitely prior to 2014. Hasn't been a strength since then. But, now that he has his distance back, he can attack Par-5s again.

I don't think anyone really considers post-2008 as part TW's career.. Least not in terms of thinking of "that" Tiger... He ran off a few wins here and there, but "that" Tiger really hasn't existed since pre-2009.

I remember how shocking it was when Yang outplayed him on the back nine at Hazeltine.
Cruzer 1,992 Posted March 15, 2018 Just birdied another par 5............ I'm not watching, is he hitting Driver on those?

Fumbleweed 426 Posted March 15, 2018 Just birdied another par 5............ I'm not watching, is he hitting Driver on those? 3-wood generally. He got an enormous break on 16 after spraying it so far right that it was actually a good shot.

listen2me 23 1,541 Posted March 15, 2018 hell I will admit I was wrong about a possible Tiger comeback. even though I always was hoping for it. of course staying healthy is half of the battle here, but I didn't think he would be this good anytime soon even if healthy. he still has the distance and all the shots. other than accuracy off the tee he seems pretty elite in every other department.
