I enjoyed the movie quite a bit actually. It reminded me of the old King Kong monster island movies. However, were all entitled to our own opinions; I encourage everyone to speak their mind.

Except in this case, where you are clearly wrong and I am clearly right.

John C Reilly was the best part of the whole movie. It was an okay watch but only because he saved it for me.

They have remade all those old movies except my favorite. The Creature from the Black Lagoon.

I love that movie! That thing scared the out of me for the longest time as a little kid. But I watched it every time. One of the channels has been playing it here.

Okay, maybe doesn't age so well. The creature looks constantly surprised.😂

I just read the summery. Meh.

Me too. It sounds exactly like a less entertaining version of Splash.

I was disappointed. I thought it was a porno. The gorilla on the billboard should have clued me in that it was a different kind of kong and an island of friendly girls.

Me and my nephew went together and seen it, after about twenty minutes we both turned to each and basically just started laughing at about how dumb it was. We then had a blast just ripping it apart all movie long, we enjoyed the hell out of it because how bad it sucked

Devils Backbone was pretty good. Pans Labyrinth - meh. Crimson Peak was laughably horrible.

The part that made us laugh so hard, cant remember his name.. was the one guy gets killed, and Samuel L. Jackson is hell bent on revenge. Sorry dude, you high tail it hell out of there if youre fighting a 500 foot tall gorilla. Or how about the guy who tries to sacrifice himself, only to be bitchslapped onto the mountain? Or how about the guy been on the island for thirty years, finally gets home, and the army still puts him in an old uniform? They couldnt give him one of the updated ones? And it still fit? Imagine how much backpay he would have gotten? It was hilarious

The best part of the movie was discovering someone called Brie Larson. And her two wonderful breasts. Wow. I had not seen her before. Looks like a much better version of Jennifer Lawrence.
