jrokh 568 Posted July 27, 2018 Training camp has started and my sense is we aren't going to know about an impending suspension by the time most leagues draft. In most mocks I've done L. McCoy is just sitting there at a good price to grab him. Is he worth spending a 3rd or 4th rounder on? He was an RB1 last year, but he is getting up there mileage-wise. Plus the threat of a Zeke-like situation, makes me pause. What do you guys think? Love to hear your opinions, thanks.
polecatt 401 Posted July 27, 2018 You'll know on draft day, if he's sitting there in the 4th and it's your turn you will know It's a big risk but he won't drop too far
Ray_T 588 Posted July 27, 2018 some will get scared off by his age(30). to some degree this happened last year. He probably has one good year left in him as he is a young 30 (just turned) I would draft him if he dropped to the 4th round. 3rd round is questionable. but I would definitely not draft him in round 1 or 2. Been burned on players in this way before, so now it is my preference to let others take that chance when the player reaches this age.
listen2me 23 1,539 Posted July 27, 2018 No idea on suspension. I would assume he will be okay for this year anyway. I wouldnt worry too much about age right now. Mccoy is in great shape and still had it last year. I would worry more about the overall offense he is on. Could be a long season.

Hes still got it and an extremely safe upside RB2. I wouldnt rely on RB1 production this year.
