If you can afford to dump a WR or TE that doesnt have much going for them I think Yeldon has the potential to be a solid RB2 if Fournette was ever to end his season. polecatt 399 Posted September 15, 2018 I think he's worth picking up Fournette is an absolute stud and Yeldon is no threat to him when he can play. However, Fournette seems to be a lock to miss 2-4 games or so a season. When he does Yeldon immediately jumps into a solid RB2 spot. Most other weeks he is going to put flex numbers or close to it. I don't think getting a couple points from an RB is worthy of playing him, so they are both screwed if the other guy in the backfield is healthy. Yeldon has more upside in case of injury. In FF you have to measure risk/reward in the end while managing other positions. I would actually say, that although fantasy football has bad luck, just like the real NFL does, it is very skill oriented in the managing of a team through a full season if the league has any complexity to it at all. Keeper leagues, contract leagues, auctions, blind bidding of the waiver wire, trades, matchups, player injuries, etc.... Usually those who lose consistently are lazy through the season, or don't do their homework prior to the draft. The top 20 in the draft are usually similar in consensus, but the rest of the draft is what makes a team have a great starting point or not. Anyway, those are my thoughts is all.
