Better Fantasy Back By Year's End?

Wish I could agree (as a Brown owner), but the Dolphins offense is killing him. He's putting up "ok" numbers with limited touches, but they've shown week in and week out that they are not going to involve him to a degree that he puts up bigger numbers. I'm still waiting for BIG week from him. Had a good week last week, but with his matchups, his potential has been greater; and consequently diminished by his coaching. Of those three, I'd take Alexander, especially for my FFB playoff push. -R

    Where are the Maroney fans..........

While this thread is rather unnecessary, bfool makes a valid point. People were getting WAAAAY overboard because of Maroney's one big game. It was ridiculous -- Peeps were predicting him a top 10 scorer this season and crap like that; and then these people were coming down hard on anyone who tried to communicate sensibly, so bfool's posting just goes to illustrate how out of hand things can get by people overreacting to a small sampling of games by a ffb performer. I think the only people who will get pissed off by this thread are those who were jocking LM so hard and have been brought down to reality by his last two performances. At leat it's not another Eagles bashing thread... Yeah, Maroney obviously has the skill set to do huge things, but not on a consistent basis until he becomes a clear-cut feature back. The kid is good no doubt. -R

They are what I thought they were

That sh*t is hilarious. You should. -R
  6. So he didn't draft well after that... big deal. Depending on who is available / how many teams in the league / etc, Manning is a safe pick in a 6 pt per TD league. Just because some clown doesn't know how to draft a team following that pick doesn't negate this fact. -R
  7. In a 6pt per TD league, that is a safe pick. But seriously, couldn't you just bump one of your other 18 threads on this topic??? You're a genius. We get it. -R

They are what I thought they were

No. What differentiates you and I is the fact that I don't post redundant lame-@ss threads... Get a clue guy. Your sh*t is weak. -R

    Colbert's awesome picks

I predict the Jets will beat the Lions. I'm on a dial-up modem so my stats are slow to update... And my bonus pick is an upset special -- Texans over the Jags straight up. You heard it here first folks. -R

    Tiki retiring?

Do keep an eye out; scouting for next year especially. There was a play during the Ravens game this year where Turner dragged nearly half the Ravens starting defense for an decent chunk of yardage (I'm thinking 5-8 yards). He literally took 4 or 5 defenders with him. That sort of play exemplifies the power and burst that many of us speak about when talking about Turner. Is he a guaranteed lock when he gets the rock full-time? Depending on where he ends up and all of the circumstances involved, perhaps. Personally, I think he's got the talent to put up nasty numbers. And like I said, the one thing I haven't seen from him is a pass-catching skill, but he doesn't get a lot of passes so I really can't comment on that. So that's one variable I'd like to see more during this season, maybe if the Bolts seal up a playoff birth, and rest Tomlinson for a game or two... Or maybe he is the product of a great system and of playing alongside Tomlinson. Only way to find out is for him to get a chance as a featured back on another team. -R
