As the title says, I am looking to join three 12 or 16 team PPR redraft leagues with $25 - $50 buy-ins: Auction, IDP, Guillotine A few other caveats: • I only play in 12+ team leagues • I only want to play in PPR leagues • The league manager/commish must require owners to be active (except the guillotine league) and have a system in place to replace inactive owners. I play for fun, not to win a few bucks. Inactivity is not fun • I need draft times that are any time 8/29. Morning or 10pm eastern or later 9/2. Morning, afternoon or early evening 9/4 or 9/5 • There must be a full rules document that I can look over beforehand • IDP league must make defensive players relevant in the scoring (if you need help here, I used to be in an IDP league that did it really well. I can share their rules) • Auction league must be auction for draft and for weekly "waivers" or claims processing • I hate leagues with a league vote to approve trades. Ideally, I am looking for leagues with strong, confident and fair league managers/commissioners who will make all the trade rulings. Simply, too many a-holes only vote in their personal best interest, rather than what is actually fair - or allow others to actually make decisions regarding their own team Shoot me a message if you have a league(s) that fit these requirements. Cutthroat Fantasy Football is back for year #5 - ONE OWNER NEEDED. 11 of the 12 owners from last year are returning This is a very unique league that rewards the top teams each week, and penalizes lazy, inactive, and/or bad owners. 2019 Rules - http://rplg.co/cutthroatrules The Basics: Redraft. 12 teams. 4 divisions. Draft Day - Wednesday, September 4th at 10pm eastern. 60 second pick timer. Draft usually lasts right at 1 hour You choose your entry fee $25-$75. Each round of the draft is determined via lottery. Every teams gets one "ping pong ball" per round. Owners will receive 1 additional ping pong ball for each additional dollar they pay in entry fees and they can decide how they want to distribute their ping balls throughout the draft Owners are expected to be active. This means, each owner must check-in by posting a comment in their team's message board thread on the league website (myfantasyleague.com) every 24 hours. If an owner exceeds 24 hours, their upcoming opponent may "lock" a player on their roster - meaning that player cannot be in the upcoming week's starting lineup Each week, top teams get to steal a player from the bottom teams. In turn, bottom teams get to steal a player from the top teams. Bottom teams get to protect 2 players. Top teams get to protect 5 players Each week, free agent claims process with the top scorer from the previous week getting #1 seed, 2nd scorer gets #2, etc. Claims processing is a straight-line (no snaking) It may sound like the bottom teams would get completely decimated, but we found that was not the case over the past 4 years. Many times a bottom team actually gets better, since their 3rd best player may not be as good as a top team's #6 player. This league is really tough, but it is lots of fun. The league is full and all paid up. That said, I always love to find backup owners, in case someone bails out mid-season. If you would be interested in maybe taking over an abandoned team (for free, of course) let me know.

DETERMINING THE CUTTHROAT DRAFT ORDER Entry Fee - $25+ per team/per year. Due to the nature of this league, once an owner has paid the entry fee, they will not be given a refund under any circumstance. The only exception is if the league is cancelled. If the league is cancelled, all owners will be given a full refund. Draft Order - The draft order will be determined by a round-by-round lottery. Each owner will receive one lottery ball per round. Owners may purchase additional lottery balls. For each additional $1 entry fee paid by an owner, the owner will receive one additional lottery ball per round. Purchasing additional lottery balls is optional. The total entry fee per team is capped at $50 (26 lottery balls per round) The commissioner will announce his buy-in previous to opening buy-ins up to the league. Individual buy-ins will not be announced until all 12 owners have paid their league fee. After all 12 owners have paid their league fee, the draft order lottery will be conducted using Draft Lotto (http://draftlotto.com). The commissioner will live screencast the setup of the lottery settings via Google Hangouts, for any owners interested in viewing the setup. Lottery results will automatically be emailed to league owners by Draft Lotto. A mistake in settings will result in the lottery being re-done. A failure in live screencast will not result in the lottery being re-done. I've been considering allowing the low scoring team to protect 2 players. The high scoring team to protect 5 players. No decision has been made yet. Cutthroat League Years ago, I had an idea for a league that's a little different. I called it a Cutthroat League. The idea behind the league is almost the exact opposite of normal leagues. Winners and best teams are rewarded, losers and bad teams are penalized. A few examples: * Draft - Lottery style round by round. More details to be announced, but it's great! * Claims priority - Highest scoring team each week gets the #1 priority each round * Each week, the highest scoring teams get to "steal" a player from the lowest scoring teams (1 with 12, 2 with 11, etc). Low scoring teams would get a player back, but high scoring team would get to protect x number of players (probably half of their roster) * If an owner hasn't logged into the website for a 24 hour period, their upcoming opponent can steal a player (or maybe they lose their team completely to another owner waiting in the wings) * Will be PPR league (probably 1/2 point) * Will be decimal scoring for yards These are some of the rules I had in mind. I will finalize and outline the rules further, once we get closer to 12 interested owners (currently at eight). The website will likely be myfantasyleague.com (but open to others can accommodate the unique rules). The draft date/time will be set after we get 12 owners. It will likely be at night, with a 10PMish eastern start time. If you know of anyone interested in playing in this type of league (not a keeper), please share the details and introduce me. $20-$25 entry fee. Winner takes all. I do imagine some owners will bail out midway through the season, because it will be a tough league and may bruise some egos... but it should be super fun to take a different approach to the game.
