Figment 0 Posted August 30, 2013 I've been going back and forth on this decision and wanted to open this choice to a new set of eyes. Here is my dilemma: Current TE – Martellus Bennett / Chicago Bears / 2012 – 626 yards & 5 TD I have my eye on Jordan Cameron / Cleveland Browns / 2012 – 226 yards & 1 TD The QB situation in Cleveland is my turn off to picking up Cameron. Thoughts?
dpbuddha 9 Posted August 30, 2013 I am going to be pretty torn on this one. I think Cameron has bigger upside but Bennett certainly has a year of good production under his belt. I don't think Cleveland's QB should be a big concern when it comes to Cameron. I think the TE routes are easy to hit and that may just add to Cameron's value. If you're a gambler then I would make that change, if it doesn't work there will likely be a decent guy on waivers. montana 89 Posted September 1, 2013 Cameron. 1. Gordon is out the 1st 2 games. 2. Little & Bess wouldn't make some NFL teams 3. Norv Turners history w/ TEs 4. Chuds history w/ TEs 5. Weeden has already established chemistry with Cameron this preseason. Stats? 6. What were Bennett's stats this preseason?
scottsind 61 Posted September 1, 2013 I am a huge believer in Cameron this year. The white young Antonio Gates. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?s=07c7deb0af796273bdfa3ec6dc92ea26&showtopic=422062
doughboys_2002 11 Posted September 1, 2013 I like Cleveland offense this year, Bess is highly underrated, great possession receiver with a lot of consistency. Cameron has a lot of upside, but Bennett was brought in for his skill set in Chicago. Tough choice, but I would take Cameron for his upside!
