Hairbands? Really? Ugh...

If you don't like this song, you're an idiot. Video is meh, but the song is awesome.

I wouldn't order you to turn it off in my presence (you would listen) but I'm not downloading it either. Enjoy your unoffensive background music.

I only listen to music in the car when the wife puts it on.

This really really really doesn't surprise me. I'm sure she drives too.

If someone broke into let it be I would leave. Too preachy. Especially from a woman beating dope fiend like Lennon.

Preachy? Really? In what way? Its not a Christmas song but the lyrics fit really well for a particular part of the story were telling.

Lennon wasnt really a part of it.

Paul wrote it, and sang it. Hes said he was thinking about his dead mom as an angel who came to him in times of trouble, telling him to relax and let it be.

Theres also a verse about broken hearted people and how they dont agree, and the lyrics encourage them to be tolerant and accepting of each other.

Ok. Point made. In the setting you're describing I concede it fits. But if someone at a concert went with it, no thanks.
