Decades of sexual harassment accusations against Harvey Weinstein

Recommended Posts

Which gets you more tail: Power/Money or Looks? :dunno:

IF I was inclined this way, I'd say looks. By far. But lack of personality also cancels out good looks, so not looks alone. Money & power is meh, in of itself.

Getting with a man simply to secure a certain lifestyle and you don't care for him otherwise sounds horribly boring.

Can guarantee 99% of these women are just regretting hooking up with a disgusting but powerful movie mogul and calling it abuse. Classic.

Personally with these, I'd rank them:

Ambition/passion for something (externally focused)

Looks (better stated as raw physical attraction)

Ok. But. I'd money and power could directly affect yoir career, positively or negatively. You might re rank?

Well that's different, I was answering in terms of actually being (staying) with the person.

If it's done for utility strictly (definitely can't relate), then yes, power/influence is top factor. Looks have no bearing unless you're revolted beyond hope.

ELEVEN women have come out publicly (and more unnamed) saying Donald Trump harassed/assaulted them.

Personally, I'm waiting for the Mnuchin stories to come. He's another Weinstein. He produced a crapload of movies. Think HIS casting couch is clean? You gotta know TMZ et al is working furiously on that.

Did you really believe that 11 women who came out with the exact same story about Trump grabbing their ###### 3 days after a tape of him saying "grab their ######" was legit?

And you should brush up on your film production knowledge. There is a difference between a guy who finances movies and a guy who hires and fires the lead actresses.

Thanks for picking up the slack while Sho is banished to FBG.

You know that's not actually how it worked right?

And, why did you change to a new handle? Seems like a lot of trouble. Did you just say so many stupid things under a different name before that you had to change?

I'm going to assume Michelle didn't know about all of this. Are you saying she knew?

This was almost common knowledge in the Hollywood Swamp and Michelle was part of the crowd as were Bill, Hillary, and Barack.

I said this a long time ago - and I think most of the bored agrees with it;

Women start stepping on their own diicks when they have idiots like Lena Dunham and Judd conflating

'harassment' with 'rape'. - And they're on record as having done so.

Yesterday was 'huge' (according to the press) bc a couple big names came out and said he harassed them years ago.

- Which was immediately conflated into the worst of the allegations.

I'm sorry, when you're Paltrow - Who's parents are UBER powerful in Hollywood, and Streep who - nuff said -

I'm sorry, you can't really claim you're askeered and intimidated 20 years later.

BUT WHAT ABOUT THE HOLLYWOOD MEN? Oh, I dunno - what about the two broads above. They didn't say shiit until MSNBC called them out on it. I watched that in real time yesterday morning.

All these libruhl broads seem to be doing the same thing - and what it does (as I said long ago) is:

It waters down/ takes the 'shock' factor out of ACTUAL rapes.

There's a difference between harassment and or intimidation vs. physical threats / actions and physical violation.

Even then, there's a BIG difference between "He touched my HINEY! and 'He drove a bowling pin up my ass".

Like I said earlier - If W actually 'raped' someone (or multiples), bury the guy. But so far, both NYPD and LAPD have received allegations - and refused to bring charges due to lack of evidence. If the guy is as bad as people are saying - and it now culturally 'cool' to come out against him - then charges should be coming any minute now.

I do agree with SOME of the thoughts that SOME of these women are jumping on the bandwagon. However, listening to the audio of that 'sting' tape by NYPD it's clear the guy is okay with crossing the line. Desperately trying to get her out of the public view into a private setting was disgusting and one could only imagine the sick sh!t he'd try.

The same can be applied to the people calling Racist. I dont think anyone really knows what a real racist is anymore.

So your answer is yes, she knew that Weinstein was sexually assaulting women, but she was just ok with it?

Why? Because he's a liberal?

It's really the same deal whether we're talking about

1) Dem with woman cravings

2) GOp with phag/boy cravings

3) Priest with Boy Cravings

What do we hear from others who knew these people? "I never saw that behavior. He was always good to me, at beszt, I might have heard rumors..."

Hell, you should see the sheer number and sincerity of character references written for Dennis Hastert - by other GOP Congressmen.

Predators rarely act on their urges in public. In fact, they are known to be experts at not only fitting in, but gaining trust.

Are YOU going to run to the press based upon a partial rumor that you heard whispered at a cocktail party?

I've been there, seen that.

I sincerely doubt Harvey told Ben Aflack or anyone else "Hey, watch me intimidate this girl into watching me JO into a potted plant!" That's just not how it works.

So, now, whether you're hollywood or DC or whatever, be careful you're not accidentally joining a circular firing squad.

if this guy has been doing it for 30 years, either everybody on the inside is an enabler criminal - or they're all not. But be careful accusing someone of the spec in their eye whilst you have a damn beam in your own. Is this suddenly new news to anybody in Hwood? Then, they've ALL been sitting on it.

Supposedly Affleck stated 20 years ago that "I told him to quit doing that sh!t" to Weinstein i.e. confronted the guy about it. Brad Pitt confronted him at a red carpet affair when he pulled that on then girlfriend Paltrow.

I understand the fear at losing their livelihood but they in part enabled his behavior with their silence.

NBC News is under fire inside and outside of 30 Rock for passing on the story that has turned Hollywood on its head - movie producer Harvey Weinstein's decades of preying on women seeking to break into the movie business.

The Peacock's attempts to explain why former MSNBC host Ronan Farrow's expose on Weinstein never made it on the air, despite extensive, on-the-record interviews and a damning audiotape of Weinstein himself, have fallen flat as the story has exploded.

“Who at NBC News passed on this story?" asked Mediaite columnist and Managing Editor Colby Hall. "Why would they choose not to cover such an enormous and important story? And was there some sort of mandate from above?”

Matt Damon, another righteous liberal douche helped convince the liberal rag new York times to bury a story on the liberal dirtbag a few years ago.

He and Russel Crowe. I am not entertained.

Apparently that's not what happened, according to the person who was working on the story then says.

Matt Damon Denies Trying to Kill 2004 New York Times Harvey Weinstein Story

Matt Damon responded on Tuesday to claims that Harvey Weinstein asked him to help kill a New York Times story about Weinstein’s history of sexual harassment that was allegedly in the works more than a decade before the bombshell reports published over the past few days.

The Wrap founder Sharon Waxman alleged while she was reporting for the New York Times in 2004, Weinstein requested Damon call her to speak positively about producer Fabrizio Lombardo, who was thought to be involved in setting Weinstein up with women.

In an interview with Deadline on Tuesday, Damon said he was unaware of what Waxman’s story was about when he called. “For the record, I would never, ever, ever try to kill a story like that,” Damon told Deadline. “I just wouldn’t do that. It’s not something I would do, for anybody.”

Waxman has since endorsed Damon’s statement. “He called me briefly, wasn’t informed — nor [should] he have been — [about] investigative aspect of piece,” she wrote on Twitter.

In the interview with Deadline, Damon addressed his interactions with Waxman. “As I recall, her piece just said that Russell [Crowe] and I had called and relayed our experience with Fabrizio,” he said. “That was the extent of it, and so I was very surprised to see it come back. I was never conscripted to do anything. We vouch for each other, all the time, and it didn’t even make her article. Whether it didn’t jibe with her storyline…it was an incomplete rendering of someone that I was giving but I had perfectly professional experiences with Fabrizio and I didn’t mind telling her that.”

Man, some of these guys would see liberals if their Go-Gurt went bad.

Yet not a peep about all the Republicans not only not saying anything, but writing on Dennis hasterts behalf. Not to mention how many Republicans knew about foleys f****** around.

This kind of s***? Happens everywhere. And it's about power and perversion.

I'm not going to get into a perv off with you, but I'm fairly certain that we could do a one for one Republican vs Democrat pervert. In fact I would bet there's probably more Republicans who been busted for this s***. But that might include all of the church pastors like Jimmy Swaggart and all the other Hypocrites who are staunchly Republican.

As far as hastert goes, you might want to educate yourself because you're coming across as not knowing what the hell you're talking about. The only one on your list that comes close to hastur is Polanski. Hastert was sexually abusing little boys while he was a wrestling coach. Yes ladies and gentlemen he was the original Sandusky. And one of the kids he f***** over so bad that the kid ended up turning into a gay male prostitute and dying of AIDS at a young age.

but like I said, I'm not going to get into a pervert competition on either side of the aisle, because that completely misses the point. There's perverts all over the place and it has nothing to do with Democrat or Republican. Turns out, the world rotates with or without the whole liberal versus Republican b*******.

You're right of course. Party affiliation has nothing to do with it. But our media and a fair portion of our general public see every issue as your side vs mine.

This guy was a huge dem supporter, as are most Hollywood types. Ipso facto, dems love sexual harassers. That's just where we are now.
