RaiderHaters Revenge 3,563 Posted August 15, 2018 already a couple shaping up right now, these are guys that you might as well grab in the 15th round or so now, and wait for things to play out before grabbing your defense/kicker Albert Wilson Danny Amendola Kenny Stills hasn't started practicing with an ankle issue Devante Parker broke his finger today and his status for week 1 is up in the air Dolphins play the Titans week 1, so it shouldn't really be a shootout imo, but these guys could shape up as solid ppr wr3 types Gesicki also could get a boost
weepaws 2,450 Posted August 15, 2018 I hope my WRs aren’t bad enough that I would need too plug and play either Wilson or Amendola.
AintNoStoppinMeNow 68 Posted August 15, 2018 Sometimes opportunity trumps talent in fantasy. I've only ever plugged and played during Week 1 once in my life and that was in 2014. Allen Hurns was an undrafted rookie who led all receivers in the preseason. Cecil Shorts (remember him?) was hurt and out for Week 1 and I remember a thread on this very board convincing me to play Allen Hurns.. I couldn't even tell you who I benched for Hurns but I vividly remember going crazy as Hurns scored a TD on each of the Jags first two possessions. I was in fantasy heaven. His final stat line was 110 yards and two touchdowns.
RaiderHaters Revenge 3,563 Posted August 15, 2018 I hope my WRs aren’t bad enough that I would need too plug and play either Wilson or Amendola. what if you decide to grab someone in round 5-6 like Edelman, as a stash, and need a plug in, I mean you can grab like a Mike Williams and hope hes more than just a redzone, or you can go with one of these guys and get the volume? There are situations where week 1 plug and play is more than viable What if you draft 1st and go like RB-RB-RB and Rodgers is there for you in the 4th, now the 5th you are grabbing your WR 1, and in the 6th you think damn if Edelman is back full str, I am loaded now with a legit wr1. Then you are down there looking at guys in that 7-8 range that aren't starters everyweek this comes into play
JohnD. 22 Posted August 15, 2018 I like Amendola as a potential WR2 for weeks in Miami. Tons of targets left with Landry. Parker is a turd. I think he could be a really reliable Flex guy until he gets hurt.

Unless that’s comes into play , I don’t see any way any one would start either one of them. Sorry but that’s just my own opinion. Thanks for the reply always a pleasure. I don't plan on drafting my WR 3 until late, so if there's a teams WR 1 available in the last round he could easily start for me at WR3.
Canadianfan 76 Posted August 15, 2018 I'm grabbing Garçon and Dede on every team and getting them late. Two guys that have a great chance in leading their teams in receptions.
jrokh 567 Posted August 15, 2018 M. Lee, and K. Cole are listed first on the depth chart. They can also be gotten late. Has DeDe sepearted himself so far in camp and pre-season?
rallo 132 Posted August 15, 2018 I like it... Edelman and Gordon could slide down the board, and you could find yourself with a WR1 caliber talent in rounds 5-8 (or wherever they end up going)...

He's having a good camp from what I've heard. I'm talking about late round flyer however, don't go drafting any jaguar receiver before the 10th round M. Lee, and K. Cole are listed first on the depth chart. They can also be gotten late. Has DeDe sepearted himself so far in camp and pre-season?

I also go get my first three Rbs and WRs early. So I don’t see any case that I would see starting any of those two Dolphins WRs without a few injury’s. Thanks for the reply. I with you, with all the news about how good Goodwin as been, Garcon could be a very good value.
