    Saints Left Tackle Situation

The Fantasy community seems to be largely ingnoring the fact that Drew Brees will, for the first time in four seasons will be without two time Pro-bowler Jermon Bushrod protecting his blind side. Reports say that the left tackle position for the saints is currently an "open competition". A line that featured bushrod, evans, nicks....seems to now only be featuring, nicks. To his credit, the loss of nicks did not seem to slow down brees's passing game one bit. However although nicks was a better overall lineman i think the loss of bushrod hurts more, and I think it can significantly impact Drew's ability to hang in the pocket. Although a down year for Drew Brees will still likely be, a really good, even elite year, I think this does have "disaster potential". 1. Brees inabiltiy to hang in the pocket could be impacted, and so many of the long passes, which he hits so often, could be jepordized. (3 or 4 30 yard passes is 4-6 fantasy points) 2. It could impact the ability of the saints to run spread out offenses because they would have a TE (possibly graham) in to block or RB (sporles) into block giving Drew less downfield options. I'm not saying don't add drew to your Do draft list, im just saying I haven't scene very much discussion of this situation and i think its not getting the consideration it deserves. Thoughs?
  2. All aboard. Future YAC Machine. Because hes a short small quick WR a lot of people compare him to wes welker. I think he could be like a wes welker only better in space. Sort of like a percy harvin/wes welker/ and dare i say a barry sanders in open field. Just look at how he cuts and changes directions without loosing any speed. Future Fantasy Stud.
  3. If you have the username and password to stream the games on line can you log into the same on account on different computers and stream 2 or more games at the same time? Thanks. Tip: pepper can not be tasted when placed on ice cream in moderate amounts and has the ability to prevent brain freezes.

Panthers ink RB Stewart to 5-year extension

Jstew may be content but i'm not. Would love to see what this guy could do with 275 carries. Closest he got was 2009. averaging 5.1 ypc on 221 carries for 1,113 and 10 TD

Preseason Week 1 - Thursday Games

Yeah kind of sucks. Not overly worried. On the plus side he marched right into the redzone on back to back drives against a BAL defense.

    Drafting MJD?

The reports say the hold out looks ugly. Let someone else spend a early pick on him IMO. I'm not terribly consider with him missing preseason/training camp being that he is a VET and his ego is big enough. Still, there will be safer players on the board.

    Trent Richardson already missing time

Pretty bummed. I was so excited to see him play. The last thing I want to deal with on draft day is another injury questionable RB. Hopefully this is a "just being super ultra cautious" type thing and not an actual injury problem. Definitely something to monitor.
  13. There is no debating a player with a lingering injury carries more risk than without one (andre johnson/hakeem nicks) But what about players who are otherwise healthly just have a history of unrelated injuries. (Mcfadden,Forte,Charles) Can you really label a guy injury prone? I mean look at matthew stafford for example who had a terrible injury history and had the season he had? Are his muscles more likely to tear from a hit by J. Peppers than that same hit applied to Tom Brady? Is a dirty hit on Chris Johnson less likely to injure than identical hit on Darren Mcfadden? I think maybe some guys are just unlucky. Peyton and Brady have both missed full seasons to do injury in the past, and Stafford and Gore have finished full ones. If you subscribe to this belief, that all players are equally injury risky, and think thats an arguement you can make, then there are some serious steals to be had in this years Draft. It wouldnt be that hard to build a team With Ray Rice/Adrian Peterson/Jamaal charles as your 3 RB's or Arian Foster/Mcfadden/Matt Forte (assuming you go RB-RB at the swing)? Two ways to think of it: Think of it on a scientific molecular level. Are the atoms, protons, neutrons, and electrons that make up darren mcfadden different than the ones that make up chris johnson? Can there be any physiological evidence that such a thing as injury prone exist? However there are rare cases where the players playing style is more likely to injure him (micheal vick) Thoughts? And just for fun if you totally totally totall bought the theory here is a team you can resaonably have given current ADP's QB Micheal Vick/Peyton Manning WR Antonio Brown WR Dez Bryant RB Ray Rice RB MAtt Forte/Mcfadded FLex- Jamaall Charles/Marshawn lynch TE- Antonio Gates

Strategy that won or lost your title?

This is my issue. If I want a player break out i will hold on to him all season thinking "this week he'll do it" Or in the case of some guys "this year"
