Seems like I saw study years ago it basically said that women's voices become much more discordant especially to men as they age.

 

I can totally see some kind of physiological reason for this. Like the small bones in your ear that make up hearing get more brittle or something like that.

 

All I know, is it's definitely true. I don't know if I'm just getting older and crankier. The answer is yes. Or if there really is something to it.

 

Some of the things that particularly grind my teeth anymore are:

 

1. Feg voices/lisps

 

 

2. Women who shriek for no good reason. Like when you watch late night and the host says something like, well it's Tuesday! And out of nowhere you hear weeeeee! STFUP.

 

3. Nasally women.

 

4. Biitch women. For example, that judge from Fox News. And, the ultimate, Hillary Clinton. Every time she talks she sounds like she's scolding me for peeking in the girls locker room.

 

There are women like Samantha Bee who lose their absolute when you make fun of Hillary's voice. But I figured when that keeps faking accents depending upon who she's talking to? Her voice is fair game. Not to mention Samantha Bee would have no problem making fun of Keanu Reeves or Howard Dean or Bernie Sanders Etc and especially Trump. So her.

 

Point being, a lot of you guys are getting older. Have you noticed that you're less and less able to tolerate this ?

 

And, adding, country to Samantha Bee, it's not a misogynist thing. There are lots of women who I would love to hear read me the phone book. Many women have beautiful voices like Elizabeth Hurley. Which to me, makes having a shrill paint peeling voice even less acceptable.
