thePRO 78 Posted August 1, 2017 So for the few of us who are in leagues that reward 1 point for every 10 return yards....who are you targeting early and late? Two years ago Lockett helped me win a championship, and last year it was Hill. Where would you target these guys in this type of format? I like Hill in the 4th round. Last year he scored around 250 I believe(316 in a return yards/PPR league). But you usually can find a great return guy late or on the waiver wire after a few weeks, so I don't know about spending an early 4th on a guy who will probably rely on success in the return game to score points. I'm not too sure about Lockett after his injury. I know Seattle likes Richardson which could take away snaps from Lockett at the WR position. Any young guys who are going to be good this year or late round gems that will be a steal?
polecatt 401 Posted August 2, 2017 I believe Ryan Switzer is a sleeper in the way you are talking about That's why the Cowboys drafted him He should be good at returning kicks, was in college, and he'll get his reps at WR in the slot as well He may not be a consistent guy week to week this season but I think he has his moments with a couple of big games
Marshall 98 Posted August 7, 2017 Raiders' Jalen Richard might interest you. Currently listed as PR, KR and RB, he is downright electric when he gets into space.
Matt Mueller 146 Posted August 7, 2017 Not a draft but more a name to keep stashed. Carlos Henderson Denver. Would prob need an injury in front of him to get regular targets but he's arguably the best YAC player in this class.
giraldi02 470 Posted August 7, 2017 TJ Logan was shaping up to be an amazing stash in formats like this. Will likely start the year on the IR-designated to return. If your league has an IR spot, give him a look
Maulers1973 117 Posted August 8, 2017 I love Hill. It's not often that a WR1 can get us return points. Plus, often when they develop into an elite WR the coaches usually take them off return duties for fear of injury, or to keep him fresh as a WR. A Brown might be an exception to that. Is Edelman still returning punts? I think they may have taken him off that. I think the Chiefs also have a good one in D'Anthony Thomas for KR who is blazing fast. DrG 94 Posted August 10, 2017 If Carolina is going to use McCaffery in the k game then he gets a boost And same for Ginn and Sproles

One thing to note on Tyreek is that he won't be returning kickoffs this year, only punts (link: http://chiefswire.usatoday.com/2017/06/09/dave-toub-says-no-kick-returns-for-tyreek-hill-in-2017-only-punts/ ) Word is the Chiefs have been running Chris Conley at kick returner. He already presents great upside as a potential sleeper WR dart at the back end of drafts. I've always held the belief that kick returners are better than punt returners in points per returns leagues.
