Dsausage 36 Posted November 27, 2014 I want to see someone who's got a set of nuts and rates them individually each week every week. For all the suckers who rated Tamme the second coming of Christ last week and out of their top 20 this week you are cowards. I put him as 6th this week if JT is out again. TennisMenace 156 Posted November 27, 2014 The experts must all be members of the same club because they rarely vary their projections. For example, last week, Mark Ingram was going against Baltimores number one rated rushing defense who hadn't allowed a rushing td in quite some time. This is eye popping to me and would make me lower his ranking considerably. It's not like he is AP after all. But what did the panel of experts rate him? Just about all of them had him top 10 or top 15. Really???? I couldn't find one guy who said, "Flee from Ingram this week....run.....run as fast as you can......you will be sorry!" Why not? Why not one dissident voice? You tell me. They are all cowards for not using their brains and just fitting him to some slot. You can make this same argument for 100 more. I can start with Duke Ellington and Megatron last week. SMH
Dsausage 36 Posted November 27, 2014 My initial point more eloquently. ^
Mike FF Today 607 Posted November 27, 2014 For the record, I had Tamme ranked No.14 last week... and Ingram No.5.

BAL: This is purely a game plan call, as Ingram has been one of the more reliable backs in the last month. Baltimore is extremely harsh vs running backs, yielding the fewest fantasy points in the league. But as good as they are against the run, they are that susceptible to the pass. With their top corner Jimmy Smith gone for the year, look for the Saints to fire up a pass heavy game plan in the Super Dome to try and jumpstart an offense that has fallen from grace this season. Ingram has been a three-down player since the injuries to Pierre Thomas and Khiry Robinson, but isn’t a big threat out of the backfield. Fewer chances and tougher sledding make Ingram a low end RB2 at best Monday night.

There was at least one guy who had the guts and the smarts to call this as it was. Maybe I need to not leave home (FFT) and visit other sites.
GreenTD 56 Posted November 27, 2014 I'm sorry, but my biggest beef with so called "ff experts" is that no one wants to go out on a limb & project a consensus ranked lower tier guy (20-40 positional ranked player) over a top 10 guy because everyone wants to play it safe. Swing for the fences every so often doesn't hurt & gets you more credibility instead of constantly ranking the McCoy/Charles/Force's of the FF world as the defacto top tier players at said position. Anyone else feel this way? Just my $.

Maybe I need to not leave home (FFT) and visit other sites. You can add another one to the list. Kyle Smith, who contributes to our Inside the Matchup column, had this to say... Running Game Thoughts: Mark Ingram remains basically Saints’ only runner with the injuries to the team’s other backs. He had just 67 yards on 23 carries last week, breaking a streak of three consecutive games with 100 yards. It doesn’t seem likely that Ingram will start a new streak this week, not against a Ravens team that has shuttered opposing running attacks. Through the years, Baltimore has been very difficult to run against, and the same holds true in 2014, as the team ranks 5th in the league in run defense. They’re also 4th in YPC allowed and tied for 13th in rushing scores surrendered. The Ravens haven’t allowed even one RB to gain at least 70 yards against them this season, they’ve allowed the 3rd-fewest receiving yards in the league to backs, and of the six rushing scores Baltimore has allowed, only three of them have come via the running back. That type of dominance is why the team is allowing fewer FPTs/G to running backs than any other squad in the league. Projections: Drew Brees: 260 pass yds, 3 TD, 2 INT Mark Ingram: 55 rush yds Travaris Cadet: 10 rush yds, 30 rec yds Marques Colston: 85 rec yds, 1 TD Kenny Stills: 70 rec yds, 1 TD Jimmy Graham: 65 rec yds, 1 TD Prediction: Ravens 24, Saints 21 So, out of me, Kyle and Colby I was the one you shouldn't have listened to with regard to Ingram. TennisMenace 156 Posted November 27, 2014 Mike, I'm not sure what the experts are saying this week against an easier Steelers defense, but he is on my bench again. The steelers are getting healthy and it is outdoors where getting hit in the cold might hurt. I'm thinking Ben will open it up and go crazy throwing tds to Brown and Bryant all night long. Pierre Thomas will be the back to play, not Ingram and his 2.5 yds a carry. If in doubt, play the Beast (Murray), Mason, or Crowell if you own them over Ingram. J-Money 4 Posted November 27, 2014 Who has the cajones to bench forte? Most everywhere I see talk about him this week, it's about how stingy the lions d is and how they will focus on him while forcing cutler to win it thru the air. It would be nice to see some of these "experts'" rosters and see if they really bench the guys they don't like

I wouldn't be surprised to see 10 catches for Forte today.
J-Money 4 Posted November 27, 2014 I could put Jennings in for him but I'm a proponent of never bench your studs so I wouldn't consider it at all. I'm just surprised to see such negativity
TennisMenace 156 Posted November 27, 2014 Like a bro said, Forte will certainly get his catches and thus his yards, which usually leads to tds.
