Keeper league question...we keep 8, so its sorta a minor dynasty league

Recommended Posts

So we Start:

QB

RB

RB

WR

WR

WR/RB/TE

TE

K

Def

THis is an 8 man keeper!

So here is my team: (ranked in order Im thinking about keeping them)

1-McCoy

2-Forte

3-J Graham

4-M Ball

5-L Bell

This is where it gets tricky, planning on the next 2 cause neither is the standout...but i HATE keeping 2 QBs

6-C Kaepernick

7-R Wilson

So now it gets hard

8a. Gore

8b. R Rice

8c. Harvin

8d. Cruz

8e. Gerhart

thats the debate, the others dont matter.

So do i:

keep both QBs and 1 of group 8 (and who?)

keep 1 QB (which?) and 2 of group 8.

I love RBs since I can start 3 and do each week.

I need an upgrade at QB and hope to trade early for one but people hold their QBs tight. Cam newton (or Rivers) is my target, the owner has Brees. But is he much better than mine?

I do have to start 2 WR and mine arent great.

I was 6-7 last year scoring the 4th most points.

I should also say that I have the 5th pick with ALL Rookies and non keepers up for grabs.

thoughts?

I would just keep 1 of the QBs doesn't really matter which they are about identical and neither is a stud. I would keep Wilson.

Then I would keep Harvin and Cruz.

You keep 4 RBs in your top 5, keep 2 WRs.

Cruz has shown he has big year potential.

Harvin is a starter if, very big if, he is healthy.

Pretty much this...possibly keep Kaep depending on potential QB's that would be available, drop Harvin or Cruz. But really you should at least get Kaep or Wilson back with the 5th pick .

So I think I am leaning towards keeping no QBs, like it says above, but letting Harvin go, I just dont trust him to stay healthy. Then keep RRice because I see him having a solid bounce back year and then drafting best QB which will likely be either of mine or like Big Ben, Romo or Cutler whoever is available at 5 then load up with high ceiling WRs for next couple picks. If I have to I can wait till Rice or Gerhart have a great week and try to trade them both for an upgrade at QB or WR.

am I making a mistake keeping Rice? is he really done? Draft is Wed night so i need to make a decision.

thanks

6 Cruz

7 Gerhart

8 Harvin (high risk reward) or Kaepernick (SF will pass more this year, he'll get rushing bonus and he's got Crabtree back).
