    Doug's Proections - AFC & NFC North

I might take a shot on Alshon Jeffery in a few leagues.
  3. White has been a top-10 scoring WR for five years straight. Fitz definitely has better potential to be the No. 1 scoring WR, but he also has the potential to be No. 35.

    10th pick out of 12

You can only go WR/WR here if you're absolutely set on loading up at RB with at least three of your next four picks and "playing the matchups" throughout the season. It's very unlikely that you're going to end up with two quality RB in 2013 without addressing the position with at least one of your first two picks.

Best team you have ever seen play?

    2007 Patriots.

Is it time to call it like it is?

Put Brady on a team that has the best defense in the league every year and watch what happens. Just watch.

    Who was the better DB?

Deion. He could start for NFL teams right now, I'm pretty sure. LoL.

No PPR, Full PPR, or .5 PPR?

I like half PPR as it makes yardage and touchdowns still significantly more important. It's mostly, in my opinion, to award the running backs who do well as receivers.

Your FANTASY NFL team MVP's of the season?

I actually had all of these same debates myself, but I couldn't bring myself to not give Brady and Rodgers the nod, considering they were absolutely dominant throughout the year. With Santana Moss, I decided to go with Ryan Torain simply because he was so productive in the games he DID play. He missed quite a few games, I know, but he didn't really hurt fantasy owners by having terrible games when they decided to start him. Thanks for the response.

Your FANTASY NFL team MVP's of the season?

I think you're confused. Only one player from each NFL team is on the list. Thus the specification "team MVP's."

    E's 2011 Dynasty Rankings

His name is Philip Rivers. One "l." Just a pet peeve. Hahahaha.
  12. Fantasy Football: Power Ranking Arian Foster and the 32 Team MVP’s of 2010 I wrote an article today about each team's Fantasy MVP, but I wanted to get everyone's opinion on what you guys thought the Fantasy MVP's were of each team. My criteria was... Total points on the season Where the player was drafted on average Where the player finished among players at his position Point-scoring consistency How the player performed during the fantasy playoffs (Weeks 14 through 17) And here were my choices... 1. Arian Foster, RB, Houston Texans 2. Michael Vick, QB, Philadelphia Eagles 3. Brandon Lloyd, WR, Denver Broncos 4. Peyton Hillis, RB, Cleveland Browns 5. Dwayne Bowe, WR, Kansas City Chiefs 6. Roddy White, WR, Atlanta Falcons 7. Adrian Peterson, RB, Minnesota Vikings 8. Aaron Rodgers, QB, Green Bay Packers 9. Tom Brady, QB, New England Patriots 10. Darren McFadden, RB, Oakland Raiders 11. Chris Johnson, RB, Tennessee Titans 12. Mike Wallace, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers 13. Steve Johnson, WR, Buffalo Bills 14. Calvin Johnson, WR, Detroit Lions 15. Philip Rivers, QB, San Diego Chargers 16. Peyton Manning, QB, Indianapolis Colts 17. Hakeem Nicks, WR, New York Giants 18. Matt Forte, RB, Chicago Bears 19. Ray Rice, RB, Baltimore Ravens 20. Frank Gore, RB, San Francisco 49ers 21. Terrell Owens, WR, Cincinnati Bengals 22. Steven Jackson, RB, St. Louis Rams 23. Drew Brees, QB, New Orleans Saints 24. Jason Witten, TE, Dallas Cowboys 25. Ryan Torain, RB, Washington Redskins 26. Mike Williams, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 27. Marcedes Lewis, TE, Jacksonville Jaguars 28. Larry Fitzgerald, WR, Arizona Cardinals 29. New York Jets Defense / Special Teams 30. Do any of these stand out as being bad choices?

Settle an argument. Who's the better team?

The Giants are clearly the better team.
  14. 2011 NFL Playoffs: Ranking the Top Fantasy Players Playing fantasy football during the NFL playoffs might be a new concept to some, but speaking as a person who plays in a separate league for the playoffs, let me tell you—it’s a blast. In fact, it can often times be more dramatic and exciting than playing in the regular season as you find yourself truly cheering for teams along with your individual players. View the rest of the 2011 fantasy football playoff rankings: Quarterbacks | Running Backs | Wide Receivers | Tight Ends Playoff fantasy football can be an thrilling way to shorten the already prolonged off-season if you’re one of the millions who is addicted to fantasy football. In the league I play in, we will draft a team that must consist of each of the following: 1 Quarterback 2 Running Backs 3 Wide Receivers 1 Tight End 1 Kicker 1 Defense / Special Teams Unit If you have filled up your roster with each of these, you are free to draft six more players at any position. This often means that some teams have two quarterbacks, two or more kickers or defenses, etc. The scoring system is simple: total points on your fantasy roster throughout the entirety of the playoffs. This means that you do not set a “starting lineup” each week. Every player on your roster is automatically in your lineup until his team is eliminated from the playoffs. (Note: Because kickers and defenses are almost guaranteed to accrue at least some points in every game, they are often selected earlier in the playoff system than they would be in your standard pre-season fantasy draft.) With a limited talent pool in the playoffs, this means that selecting players who you believe will be on a team that will make it the furthest in the playoffs is of the utmost importance. It also can mean slightly downgrading players on teams that have a first round bye as they will have one less opportunity to gain points than the players on teams that do play in the Wild Card round. With the basics out of the way, let’s move on to ranking the players for this season’s playoffs! --------------------- Comments / critiques appreciated!!

    Week 17 Superbowls

I do my rankings all the way through Week 17 (and I also make new ones for the playoffs) because of things like this. I'm not personally in any leagues that have the "championship" game in Week 17, but I am in a league in which there are no "playoffs" and the regular season champion is crowned based on record... Honestly, I think it makes for the best team winning the league a lot more often. Is there less drama? Sure. But there's enough drama in real football for me.
