edjr 5,563 Posted October 4, 2017 That game is on Sanatana - to get a 3 spot in that situation, then blow it - pathetic. The game was over as soon as the Yanks tied it in the bottom of the 1st. 100%
Hardcore troubadour 12,631 Posted October 4, 2017 That why they finished behind them in the East it's not even smacking you around Luis looked great last night. Good to see he's ready for primetime Yanks had a winning record against the Sox. Also played them for two series while Judge was in his slump and Chapman was a mess. Funny how much the Yankee fan owns the Red Sox fan.
Hardcore troubadour 12,631 Posted October 4, 2017 The rest of the world is happy that the Yanks and Sox could both be eliminated after round 1. Please don't compare the red Sox to the Yankees. There isn't one. Thanks

I just pointed out the Sox did a lot of damage while the Yanks had some problems that have been straightened out. And the Yankees, winners of 27 World Series, still beat them head to head. Whaaaaaa! jerryskids 5,198 Posted October 5, 2017 Nice. People talk about the demise of attending sporting events, but I dunno... in the past 4 days I attended this game and the Cards overtime win vs. the Niners. There is nothing like the electricity of actually being at such events.

There is nothing like the electricity of actually being at such events. Glad you enjoyed it, playoff baseball is electric. I live a few hours (give or take) from Indy, St Louis, & Louisville. This used to not be the case but, I just don't feel like dealing with the hassle of traveling hours for live events anymore. My couch is the best seat in the house for a football game. I'll make exceptions, I'm about an hour from Bloomington Indiana, I'll take a few trips a year up for a Hoosier's game. This year, Duke vs. IU in the ACC challenge next month, several buddies are Duke fans, I think 12 of us are heading up for the game.
edjr 5,563 Posted October 5, 2017 Last playoff game I went to was this. Papplesuck Guess what? Game was great to be at until the 9th. Weird, right?
jerryskids 5,198 Posted October 5, 2017 you wouldn't say that if they had lost. it's all about the result. Sure it is different when they lose -- I was at the Cards/Pats opener last year when Catman gacked that game winning field goal for instance. But it is still a unique experience, just a different type.
Hardcore troubadour 12,631 Posted October 5, 2017 Noticed the Red Sox are in the less desirable 430 time slot today. Yankees are in prime time, of course.

I don't have a ton of confidence in Sale today. 1st time in the playoffs and has been hit or miss lately. Sale 1-2 2.95 vs Verlander 2-0 1.
