rwren 2 Posted June 27, 2015 Has anyone tried running DB on Office 365? I hear that this version of Excel doesn't have the same full functionality.
Mike MacGregor 20 Posted July 2, 2015 Hi rwren. I was waiting a bit to see if anyone else chimed in. Looking at their available features for different plans, it appears that it depends what plan you have. "Essentials" is Word/Excel/etc. all running over the Internet, like Google Docs I imagine. I don't think Draft Buddy would work in this. However, anything beyond Essentials includes fully installed Office for Mac or PC. This surely would work, as that would be the same as what most of us are using now (Office 2010/2011/2013). Here are the business plans: https://products.office.com/en-us/business/compare-office-365-for-business-plans and here are the home plans (first two for 365): https://products.office.com/en-us/buy/compare-microsoft-office-products The home plans are less clear, but if you dig into the detail it seems there isn't even an "Essentials" option here - all plans include a full install of Office. Hope that helps.
