If "Rub of the Green" is an accepted part of golf, so too has to be 'Rub of the Crowd'.

 

The rule is fine, you should not be allowed to have a do-over - you just have to trust people to police themselves....... I'm actually shocked it doesn't happen more often, yelling during a swing.

 

And yes, I HATE the tool who yells 'baba booey' or 'get in the hole' after shots.... There's one at every event.

Well, I think that the crowd should be allowed to pummel the offender, which should help ensure that it doesn't happen very often.
