Mike FF Today 607 Posted October 12, 2018 Sounds like Freeman is dealing with a foot and groin injury. Tevin Coleman and Ito Smith will handle the running back duties. Coleman is a solid RB2 value.
handbanana 47 Posted October 13, 2018 My first 3 picks in one of my leagues from the 10 spot were: 1. OBJ 2. D Freeman 3. Hilton Ugh
tanatastic 2,061 Posted October 13, 2018 Looks like a wasted pick this season even when healthy.

stonewall 647 Posted December 8, 2018 Looks like Freeman has a chance to come off IR and potentially play during the fantasy playoffs....Cards and @Panthers weeks 15 & 16. Anybody taking a flyer? Falcons coach Dan Quinn said there's "still a shot" Devonta Freeman (groin, IR) plays this year. Advice: Freeman injured both his foot and groin in Week 5 and opted to undergo surgery. The Falcons still have a better than zero chance to make the postseason, but the team will likely be playing for nothing but bragging rights by the time Freeman's ready to return. He's only worth a stash for Week 15 on in extremely deep leagues. Jason Butt on Twitter (Rotoworld.com)

It's ludicrous.

weepaws 2,418 Posted December 8, 2018 On all four of my teams I have a player or two that I probably won’t ever start unless of a injury. So I might just stash him and see how it goes.
stonewall 647 Posted December 8, 2018 Upon further investigation, the earliest game that Freeman could play in per NFL rules is week 16 @Carolina. Seems like a long shot....and Panther run D is no joke. Only one 100 yard rusher this season....and that was Tevin Coleman in week 2, lol. https://www.atlantafalcons.com/news/dan-quinn-devonta-freeman-has-made-a-lot-of-progress-in-injury-rehab
