Some people need to get their priorities straight on who the good guys and who the bad guys are. Nobody (almost nobody) is targeting innocent black kids, at worst cops are more wary around them. It's cops like Officer Walter here, doing dangerous duty and paying with his life, that are the reason I love and respect the cops so much.

No. When it comes to hating or wanting to eliminate/ban/target entire groups of people based on things like skin color or religion, I am not down the middle at all. In fact, I'm very biased.

 

When the "black thug" type posts start, like some others here, it's difficult for me to refrain from shooting a comment back. There is some logic in the thought that disrupting the echo chamber is a version of fighting the good fight on at least a small scale.

 

But it does suck that we can't just all be upset when a cop gets killed...or two guys step in to defend someone and get stabbed. But it is what it is I suppose.

In theory, the desired war against anyone that doesn't look like you shouldn't have been the thread's focus. The focus could have been on the event where the guy was killed.
